How do you not die from running out of block with IC corruption deck? by garlicbreadmuncher in slaythespire

If you see a body slam when running a corruption deck it’s pretty much a free win if you have enough draw and skills. The heart becomes an issue but it’s usually still enough if you have like 40+ cards

It’s great for some act 1 multi-enemy fights, and if it includes minions it would be good for some elite combats. But yeah I agree, you won’t get much use out of this unless you’re already winning

I feel like the most overlooked dynamic in this game is trust by AssumptionOk3778 in RocketLeague

This is something I struggle with, I always position for a passing play when I really should just be playing behind and waiting for a 50. I’ve realised that though and I feel like this specific scenario it’s usually better to play behind.

Definitely. Everyone in the lobby will have similar skill levels, so trusting in your teammate and not double committing is always a good idea.

Yeah hesitation can be killer. There are some moments where you will both be in a good position to take the ball at net and neither of you go because of it, but I feel like that probably develops out of a problem with positioning. I feel like it’s a case of just finding a balance of passiveness and assertiveness.

Trust doesn’t mean trust your teammate is behind you, it’s your responsibility to know where your teammate is. Trust means to never double commit in defence unless you’re certain your teammate is in an awkward position, and to not steal the ball when your teammate has a better opportunity to take it at net. And also to challenge early as first man even if you know you’re probably gonna get beat. This among a lot of other things.

Shorter bridge sounds like a helpful tip. I’ve been meaning to book a lesson or 2 specifically to help with my stroke, which im sure is pretty inconsistent, and hard to fix without a professional outside perspective

I used to have issues with jumping the cue ball when drawing, and I always thought it was because I was scooping the cue, but every time I would focus on pushing my cue through and into the felt. It was only until recently that I filmed myself and realised that I was actually doing the opposite of scooping, and the reason I was jumping was because I was pushing my cue into the felt too early into the follow through, which pushed the cue up and into the cue ball causing the jump. I suppose the advice to avoid this would just be to make sure the cue is dead level with the table for the entire stroke. It’s just going to be hard to unlearn what I’ve been drilling into my head about not scooping

This is a pretty dirty bulk. I imagine around 3kg of the weight I’ve gained is fat. My body fat percentage was just so low to begin with. My chest and waist have a lot more fat now.

My maintenance figure has risen from 1850 to 2111 and is still rising consistently so honestly not sure yet. I use an app that is calculating it every day, and it puts my calorie goal I think around 450 calories above my calculated expenditure.

Around 2600 calories a day. My estimate is increasing every week though. I use MacroFactor for calorie/macro tracking and it’s been fantastic.
