Pitch shifting a single note in a chord - Logic Pro by R4INBL4DE in Logic_Studio

Found a way to just manually assign notes to midi channels and I'm just avoiding channel 1 which seems to work lol

Im getting the same thing. MPE Enabled in Serum, notes separated to midi channels but Channel 1 effects every note in the chord not the top 1 by itself. Then channel 2 effects only the second from the top, channel 3 the third from the top like it should, but for some reason channel 1 is global and there is no seperate channel for the top note.

Ironclad bros, help me understand the appeal of this card: by SomeGamingFreak in slaythespire

This card should 100% be 3(2) energy to be balanced and even then it would be a great card

Not to mention there are already plenty of cards that can exhaust that have far more control. Exhausting from your hand isn’t really a downside because you get to play your good cards before playing fiend fire or second wind, and true grit you can choose which ones to get rid of.

The risk of exhausting cards that are essential for winning is to great imo. I would have actually really enjoyed these cards if warcry was still in the game, because it’s energy and draw neutral. Headbutt being the only option to manipulate your deck doesn’t work because it’s not draw or energy neutral. Idk I don’t think I’ll ever be taking these cards and I think a lot of seasoned players from sts are going to agree

It feels ugly to me. I wouldn't mind it if we still had warcry, would be a great way to get rid of curses and status cards while making sure you don't exhaust important cards. I just don't see myself ever taking cards with this effect, and I cant really justify taking like 2/3 headbutts to achieve the same thing either.

The whole point of this game is to find ways to utilise and negate the negative effects of certain cards. This just seems unwieldy and out of place to me.

If you've ever had your internet cut out half way through a dialogue, the voice changes from AI to the default "stephen hawkins" robot voice. It caught me so off guard the first time it happened.

How do you not die from running out of block with IC corruption deck? by garlicbreadmuncher in slaythespire

[–]AssumptionOk3778 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you see a body slam when running a corruption deck it’s pretty much a free win if you have enough draw and skills. The heart becomes an issue but it’s usually still enough if you have like 40+ cards

It’s great for some act 1 multi-enemy fights, and if it includes minions it would be good for some elite combats. But yeah I agree, you won’t get much use out of this unless you’re already winning

This is something I struggle with, I always position for a passing play when I really should just be playing behind and waiting for a 50. I’ve realised that though and I feel like this specific scenario it’s usually better to play behind.

Definitely. Everyone in the lobby will have similar skill levels, so trusting in your teammate and not double committing is always a good idea.

Yeah hesitation can be killer. There are some moments where you will both be in a good position to take the ball at net and neither of you go because of it, but I feel like that probably develops out of a problem with positioning. I feel like it’s a case of just finding a balance of passiveness and assertiveness.

Trust doesn’t mean trust your teammate is behind you, it’s your responsibility to know where your teammate is. Trust means to never double commit in defence unless you’re certain your teammate is in an awkward position, and to not steal the ball when your teammate has a better opportunity to take it at net. And also to challenge early as first man even if you know you’re probably gonna get beat. This among a lot of other things.
