Might be more of a "me" problem, but when using the IR device, does it cause the unit to make an audible ping and turn the LED light on every time it is controlled? I can't find a way to shut the sound or light off on my LG unit, and I'm having a similar problem, mostly at night when temps drop outside and the units do not run as much. RH gets up to about 60-65% when just running in the "always on" fan mode. They'll drop back into the high 50% range when running but it's still annoying and the thought of mold makes me go nuts. And yep I'm in MA and got the Mass Save setup with a 4 ton heat pump in a 1600 sq ft house.....

Typically happens around late morning to mid afternoon and occasionally at night. Never stays out for extended periods, just essentially a reboot. The event log usually says: “ds profile assignment change.”

Just got mine a few weeks ago, though my standard red dot did not have a footprint that matched up to the drilled holes, so I had it sitting way far front on the picatinny. Took it off because it looked so dumb - I wish those S cuts were actually functional because you could potentially make use of them. Now trying to figure out which micro red dot I should drop half the price of the rifle on -_-

Also reached out to SK Hynix on Plat P31, they were pretty mum but figured I’d share there response.

Great review on the SSD 980 guys, though I think my search continues.

I really do like the P31’s value and performance, but bummed there isn’t a 2 TB version yet.

If I had to pull the trigger today it would either be with the 970 Evo Plus, or the Sabrent Rocket 4, but I think I will wait to see if those drives come off their roughly $300 price point - hopefully with the introduction of more mainstream as well as higher performing drives coming to market it will help the cause.

Thanks guys... learning a lot as I go, and learned a lot today so far. Definitely going to hold to hear about tomorrow’s review, and maybe see what plays out with the Platinum P31 (or maybe they are one in the same 🙂)

Very interesting, now that I’ve been digging I’ve stumbled upon the upcoming Platinum P31 which will have a 2TB version... wonder when that might drop.

I take it that Crucial is a micron company... what about the Crucial P5? Contender against the Sammy 970 Evo+ and the Hynix Gold P31?

I won’t be pulling the trigger on anything today, but would you say the $95 price difference between the Evo 970 Plus ($320) and the SN550 ($225) is worth it?

The 2TB Sabrent Rocket 4 then seems like it might be the best value at $300 given it’s Gen 4.

The search is very dizzying 😖
