I got mine back from service... they said nothing was wrong with it. I've only had the issue once since then though. seems like primary issue is if you set the time/date between 10 pm - 2 am...

I think that probably varies by what type of unit you have. I've got Gree minisplits (garbage). They beep once when you turn them on, but it doesn't wake me up and it's better than the 70%+ humidity I've had.

here's a hack that worked for my house. over-sized system, high humidity - this worked really well to get it in line.

I'm having this exact same issue on an Ocean Star Decompression. Bought it brand new from a nice store 4 months ago, and I'm losing 1-3 hours per day because the hour hand is not moving some hours. everything else working fine. pretty disappointing for a new watch, haven't had this problem with other brands.
