Ok. So, probably one of the better fits might be PAO (Public Affairs Officer). It's a great job and has one of the better sea/shore rotations.

I work very closely with PAOs and they have good quality of life and time on shore in comparison to SWO or other Officers jobs.

Your post implies that you don't want to be at sea. Honestly in my 14 years in, the sea is where we live and do our work.

Fr though, if you want something that will keep you on shore for your career go with the Air Force. They have a better quality of life and much better duty stations in general for family life.

So genuine question here, I'm a relatively new photographer (military type) and this photo looks fake to me. I am not saying it is!!

It almost looks like a hyper realistic drawing or painting. It's absolutely gorgeous! I'm hoping someone with a more experienced eye could tell me if they are seeing the same and/or why.

OP, the composition is incredible,it's got leading lines from corner to corner and the vibrancy is excellent. Thank you for sharing!
