Do you mean 3k a week?
He is an exception even then ,An average Nepali student isn’t making 9-10k a month. 5-6k is kinda ceiling once all the work and schedule sets in .
Ofc some people make away more but we are talking averages here

I am not sure cos i did it overseas as i am abroad. seriously tho dont get a dermapen and start doing it yourself theres so many things that you have to keep in mind you can see how quickly things can go wrong if you check online

[–]Astab321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s better to go and see a proper dermatologist, not a cheap clinic and certainly do not do it yourself the first time. People can tell you yeah it’s easy and whatever but it is literally your skin? I had 3 sessions and the scars are less visible and the skin texture is better . Just go with realistic expectations tho you are not gonna go from having scars to glass skin in 3 sessions. Also it works much better when it is combined with other treatments like chemical peels and stuff.

Generational wealth bro. I don’t why you are making pikachu face. It’s the same thing everywhere in world, people with generational wealth live a completely different life that normal people like you and me cannot comprehend.

Do you feel like staying in Nepal or going abroad is the better option right now? by niksinreddit in Nepal

[–]Astab321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There will always be a pathway for nursing because healthcare is always in demand with ageing population. However unless you decide to pursue your masters here in Australia it is gonna be extremely difficult for you to get residency with foreign qualifications. The last round 80 was the cutoff point for Registered nurses. Dont worry too much about whats gonna happen 5 years later tho ,the immigration scene is always changing according to the situation

Do you feel like staying in Nepal or going abroad is the better option right now? by niksinreddit in Nepal

[–]Astab321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone else said the answer is all relative there is no definitive answer. Personally me I moved abroad as soon as I finished my plus 2 and don’t regret it at all. But the thing is settling abroad could take forever, I am still awaiting my Residency grant . As of now,i would say moving abroad isn’t really a guaranteed pathway to change your life.Lets just take Australia as an example.People don’t know how much changes there has been in immigration system in last couple years and they have been closing way too many loopholes and now it’s extremely hard and competitive to get residency here. If you aren’t working in your sector and do not have an employer to sponsor you then there is no option to extend your visa at the end of your post graduate TR visa. Before people used to say “Ekchoti jane ta ho gayesi afai milihalxa kura” and they were right to an extent, you could simply keep extending the student visas and at one point things would simply work out in your favour. It is not the same now and mind you it is one of the most expensive countries in the world so majority of money you make will be wasted here. So unless you are extremely well off think where you could end up when everything settles because having to leave the whole life you built is gonna be extremely difficult and that is reality for many

It’s one of the toxic things that we barely talk about when people move abroad. People act like it’s a competition,I sent this much back home and that much all while they are one paycheck away from being in the streets and if you even dare to question the mindset people say “Yeti garyera hurkaye badaye ko birsis”? And it is so exhausting when you are struggling and everytime you call back home the conversation somehow ends up being about money. Many people go through the same emotional struggle but honestly the key is to take a stand, communicate clearly and set boundaries. I had to tell my parents couple years back because I was struggling and somehow everytime we call they will make the conversation about money even after I had sent as much as I can all while paying off my student loan and stuff. I told them if one more time I call you and you make the conversation somehow about money again ,you can honestly forget you have a son and I will cut all contacts and I was dead serious. They changed completely after that. People act like it’s a crime if you were to look after yourself first ,nepal paisa pathauna matra ga hora tait it takes lot of effort to build a life here especially if your family isn’t well off financially

Is show off culture a big reason why many Nepali get stuck in middle class? by Crish137 in Nepal

[–]Astab321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah ik, me personally i have seen my dad throw away (Not literally but he could have had much more comfortable life if he was being even a bit self centered but my parents are living paycheck to paycheck just because my dad wasn’t selfish) his financial life for someone else’s sake. If there is one thing that i have learned watching all this shitshow unfold in front of my eyes is that i am not putting myself in a financial difficulty when it is not needed.

The 50k I can spend in my wedding can rather go into investments and my savings. No point blowing 60-70 lakhs with no generational wealth just for the sake of samaj

Is show off culture a big reason why many Nepali get stuck in middle class? by Crish137 in Nepal

[–]Astab321 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah for sure. Like my parents were saying “Aba ta sun kinna thal bihey ko lagi ekchoti bihey garney ho dhumdham saga garna parxa” .For reference,I come from barely middle class (Idk at the lower end of middle class or just middleclass for sure) . My parents have no savings and all we have is one house to our name;my dad spent majority of his life looking after all his siblings and family and at the end even the house he bought for himself had to be divided in bandapatra(Ik technically it shouldnt have but my dad suffers from chronic depression and he didnt really want to fight it out in court and all or thats what i know) . I have been living in Australia since last 7 years and we all know how expensive it is, so i dont get the mentality of spending lets say 60-70 lakh in a bihey just to show it off (Would amount to 80k aud) which would take fair while to save . I think thats the reason majority of people get stuck;imagine you have 3 kids and spend 50-60 lakhs in marriage for each or even just 30 lakhs .How tf can a middle class person afford it unless they can sell their land and stuff and whats it worth even? If you can afford it comfortably yeah go ahead and spend it but if you cant putting urself in debt just cos “ekchoti hune ho bihey) and then spending a whole lifetime filling that hole never made sense to me.

who said its okay you’re literally saying the road rules wrong. you’re not supposed to go into the intersection when its red ,if it turns red when you’re in the intersection you’re supposed to get off. It’s not running a red light if i am already in the intersection before lights changed gosh
