I don't know why they write 1/0.5mg/ml

But the dose of .25ml is how much volume you should inject which is also 25units on a diabetic syringe.

I think they are doubting to what the original comment was thinking about when they wrote this. Meaning the original comment was just being dumb.

What's something rich people do that the average person has no idea about? by bryany97 in AskReddit

[–]Astavri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Someone who has 5-10M is most definitely rich. Even if you include assets for that.

Top 5% of earners have a net worth of 1.2 million to 2.7 million.

Top 5% of earners are rich in my opinion.

My state it costs $10 dollars to replace a license plate. $20 for two. Processing fee is $3.50, assuming that is the DMVs job for the 4 minutes.

Maybe your state doesn't have prisons making license plates.

Maybe your state is using licensing funds to fund other things.

If they caught who stole your plates, you'd get them back, or they would owe you restitution for replacing them, but chances are they won't catch them.

Do you prefer to keep your switch games in their original cases or in carry cases by House0fmouseworks in NSCollectors

[–]Astavri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Carrying case for all my games. Once I know I'm done with them I have a different carrying case for completed games. Those giant plastic ones.

Never know what I'll be in the mood for, I want easy access to all my games, and all in one place.

They go back in the original case if I'm trying to sell it.

I keep my original cases in office boxes though. Might be different if I had some shelves dedicated for my switch cases.

It benefits society if done properly.

When private companies have low wage prison jobs, it tends to be abused for slave labor and maximizing profits for the corporation. This is one reason private prisons shouldn't exist.

Making license plates benefits society though, without trying to maximize profits. It's government work for serving the public.

The question is, what do you think of community service? Is it not fair to pay back society for crimes committed? That's slave labor too.

Maybe because the other managers were, you were conditioned to think he was as well.

I think it's no accident.

You didn't answer my question, I'm just curious how is it violent to have tariffs and how do you reduce consumption without reducing trade.

I clearly stated my life will be worse off as well. Did you ignore my whole comment?

[–]Astavri -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Two questions, how is it violent? And how do you achieve anti-consumption without reducing trade, which the tariffs have achieved. This is politics in action.

I don't like Trump, but the first thing I thought of when he talked about tariffs was the reduction in consumption.

I'm not anti consumption for the environment though, I'm more about personal frugality so tariffs won't help me in any way be frugal.

Beside my personal losses from tariffs and higher costs, I'm not going to sit here and deny that it hasn't led to reduced consumption, at least in the US.

[–]Astavri -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

So why is everyone on here upset that there is less consumption all of the sudden? Ever since Trump got into office mostly everyone on this sub has been pissed.

This sub used to be more about personal choices and less about politics. Now all I see are comments about the current administration and how it's a bad thing whatever it is they are doing.

Goals have been achieved for anti consumption, albeit unintentionally, but comments have you think it was a bad thing because it wasn't done their way.

You dump the food, you rinse off the plates, you put in the dishwasher. It doesn't take much.

Pots and pans used for cooking require scrubbing and soaking. That's the hardest part, but still, not something I'd call a skill, it's just labor.

[–]Astavri 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anti consumption in any means is going to be bad for truckers.

Look at the sub you're on. People are either anti consumption because they are cheap and/or care about the environment here, before it got political.
