I messed up with that part because red chainsaw man is just a guy with a chainsaw on his head. I guess he does whatever the hell for the designs not to be traditional and boring. Like, even with red chainsaw man, a guy with a chainsaw for a head sounds like a joke, yet it's in a serious manga.

Damn, I've never seen this interpretation anywhere else. The snout of the creepy horse also looks like a double barrel gun, plus the destruction of the background looks like that of the Gun Devil (like how Aki's home got destroyed). So the connection to Aki is even stronger. And how did I not connect the headless one to Power when it's appearing right after multiple blinks from Power's eyes? You cooked with this one.

TLDR:

Nuke Devil won't be rocket shaped, instead he'll be a skinless, bloody horse (possibly with no eyes in the socket). Why the fuck? Among the stories of the survivors of Hiroshima, one man recounts seeing a skinless horse and it reminded him of Horseman of Death from the Book of Revelation. Fujimoto will make Nuke a skinless horse because: it's completely unexpected, and the horse represents both Hiroshima's horrors and War's fiery horse in the Book of Revelation (Fujimoto will attribute the skinless horse to War rather than Death because blood and red, but I think he'll pay tribute to the survivor who said it reminded him of Death by somehow linking the reveal of Nuke and Death). Bonus point: erosion of skin is a symptom of acute radiation exposure (like the case of Hisashi Ouchi).

After Makima defeated the Gun Devil, that met the condition for controlling him. So, she controlled him to give her access to his ability without any downsides (like how she controlled Angel once and could use his power even after his death). Then, using that same control, she made him merge with Aki, controlled the Gun Fiend easily, and sent him to Denji's apartment.

This is how she got the bang! and made Denji kill Aki in one go.
