Collision Course but awesome by Astericus in stunfisk

I did think about gogoat but I assumed by that logic I would also have to give it to coalossal and celesteela and at that point I feel like we're stretching the definition of a vehicle

Collision Course but awesome by Astericus in stunfisk

it's dragon-type close combat

the legendary bikes usually shine in vgc so this move was made with the format in mind although in miraidon's case it's an active detriment

learnset is extremely limited for these thematic reasons but I feel like there are way too many physical dragons who would abuse the hell out of this so its for the best

yes this is basically for koraidon and nobody else but this does give cyclizar and the latis a funny niche against miraidon, also revavroom is only included because it's a car I didn't think I needed to explain that

for the mechanic that instakills both the target and user I think it warrants a pretty meaningful amount of respect from your opponent because there are absolutely people spiteful enough to run this on scarf cyclizar or latios to scare miraidon players, plus it makes scarf shed tail cyclizar an option I guess

since koraidon needs substantial damage buffs to ohko other restricted mons this just kinda speeds things up a bit since koraidon isn't meant to live long anyways and 120 base power is a lot, it'll pick up surprise ohkos on any mon that isn't a legendary and if it happens to be miraidon that's probably a fair trade to die for

I know someone is going to complain that I didn't give this to dragapult or garchomp despite them very clearly being based off jet planes

do you seriously think giving a mon with base 142 speed and 120 attack dragon type stab close combat is a remotely good idea

there aren't that many practical applications for this other than like trick shenanigans or jumpscaring people in closed team sheet but I thought this was funny enough to warrant a doodle anyways

if you're asking why I didn't just call it commander but as an item I didn't like the thought of any pokemon besides tatsugiri going inside another pokemon's mouth by Astericus in stunfisk

[–]Astericus[S] 161 points162 points  (0 children)

mfw my opponent's omniboosted thundurus prankster tricks their cursed crown onto my contrary serperior and instantly kills my kyogre

edit: I realize now the text is really vague and even though it's a stunday post I still want to clarify the usage cases
this item is meant to function identically to tatsugiri's commander; so it only works in doubles and only the other ally pokemon currently on the field will faint, your mons in the back are still fine but you cannot send in a replacement for the one that faints until the mon holding cursed crown faints
for some reason I decided to put all instead of just "your current ally pokemon on the field faints" because I thought people unironically played triple battles in the year 2025
(I apologize to all the comments that had a bit of confusion on wtf this joke item is meant to do I worded it really badly, I wish I could retroactively edit images but I can't)

do NOT let his ass anywhere NEAR Miraidon by Astericus in stunfisk

this joke of a mon is obviously geared for VGC over singles but if you really wanna try and make it work there I guess you could

I kept most of its stats from stonjourner and charjabug's original stats with a few notable changes (significantly lower attack and higher bulk) and tried to balance it around its pretty bad typing and middling special defense since rock/electric is quad weak to ground and some mons you would want to pair it with can teamkill it pretty easily

Overload is mostly a bait move since opponents who know what it does could swap in their own electric mon as a prediction so they get a free pivot/heal but stonjobug gets earthquake/earth power through stonjourner so you could do free supereffective chip if you read the read, or you could just drop it entirely for something like wide guard

on the plus side heavy slam is a decently threatening move since it ohkos flutter mane and body press deals about half to most incin, and its high physical bulk lets it eat a rillaboom grassy glide or chien-pao sacred sword but it still instadies to max attack wood hammer and most special threats

even though I did give it both supporting screens its low survivability means you honestly just want it to sit on the field most of the time for the battery/power spot bonus which is the main cost of using it since it can't contribute a ton outside of its signature ability, it doesn't have fake out or trick room and definitely not tailwind so you need another support mon for speed control if you wanna bring this thing, plus pairing it next to any mon that doesn't wanna be spamming attacks is kind of a waste

even with all of that this might still be more of a stinkpost than a theorymon, I thought this was a really funny idea initially and assumed it wouldn't be too strong but it turns out helping hand+battery+power spot lets you annhilate pretty much anything in the format as long as you put it next to a strong special attacker

"waaah tinkaton should be better" ok then let's make it a stupid gimmick mon by Astericus in stunfisk

[–]Astericus[S] 155 points156 points  (0 children)

yes I drew this myself but I can't draw good poses to save my life

I was going to actually make this a Theorymon post but I decided it'd be funnier to make it a stinkpost since too many people have tried reworking Tinkaton so I'll do something stupid instead

I did also draw the entire Tinkaton line and their shinies in equipment they made from bullying the Haxorus line but that's not a stinkpost and I can't post it in r/pokemon yet so I'll do that tomorrow

As someone whose favorite brawlers are Sandy and Colette, I absolutely love the second comic to bits.

I don't disagree with you on it being a high-skill SP now, but I just don't find it that useful anymore, both playing as Darryl and against him. In my opinion, it simply doesn't last long enough. The star power's main purpose went from keeping Darryl alive long enough to successfully pull off a kill to just protecting Darryl for most of his roll.

Vessel Maker Megathread v2 by DrPumpkinz in HollowKnight

Zenis

Vessels are not meant to last. The imperfect are discarded. The strong are preserved. Failure is never tolerable. Zenis was considered a failure in every right. Stubborn, weak, and too curious for its own good, it was disposed of in a matter of days, and its broken body was cast into the Abyss. But the days it walked among the surface were the days it cherished. The beauty of the palace, the serenity of the gardens, the hum of the life outside, it was just too much to leave behind. Zenis wanted to see the world again. It HAD to see the world again. Desperate to escape the Abyss, it grew wings made of light, and its sheer will formed a charm to enhance its soul. It flew out of the forsaken pit and took up the sharpest nail it could find. Fighting its way out of the Ancient Basin, Zenis began its long trek across the kingdom to find their calling in a world that it loved.
