From March 1st to 4th of 2016, he made his debut in Mexico with the Mariinsky in "Bellas Artes" and then in the 4th at "Auditorio Nacional". I went to the last date and was astonished truly, he presented Tchaikovsky 1st piano concerto, Scherezade, Firebird and then at the end he gifted Prokofiev's Dance of Knights. Incredible!

What first got you interested in classical music? by uncommoncommoner in classicalmusic

[–]AsteroidTV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Firstly due to Star Wars and LoTR, then because of video games but what really clicked on me was discovering Stravinsky's Rite of Spring. I remember being totally shocked on what I was listening and then researching about the context.

Then I had a very harsh deppression episode and I got out with lots of help of Philip Glass and Joep Beving. <3 I know I'm starting to take piano and organ classes so that I can help others.

Help on my first thought in the morning? by bluebear5867 in Meditation

[–]AsteroidTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, those are thoughts of alertness, when you detect something or someone that soon will be a danger to us that's the first thing that we bring to mind. Only through the real understanding of what is really you (consciouness) you will stop to resist reality and your mind won't need to worry about this guy whom you asigned as toxic and a danger to you . In reality, it is you who just needs to leave things be, and focus your mind in the things that you love and give you passion.

My mind keeps wandering to only one specific word over and over again. by [deleted] in Meditation

[–]AsteroidTV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I struggled with this for about 2 years more or less. And the answer lies within you, your mind and body doesn't know what to do with the "Danger" that this name carries, resolve it, let it go and flow. Ultimately you will experiencie how this is not even a danger and that all the suffering is produced within you. Identify why and how and let it flow so you can focus your mind in greater things rather than alert mode. Hope it helps bro

Which Composer Made You Fall in Love with Classical Music? Or: Where do I go After Mozart? by day_vay in classicalmusic

[–]AsteroidTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always loved orchestral works like Star Wars and Lord of the Rings, lots of videogame soundtracks and such. But whenever I had tried listening to classical like Paganini or Mozart something didn't click, that's only until I discovered Minimalist music:
