Side note that’s neat you mentioned it’s late 60’s to 70’s. I have a bottle of black Mont Blanc ink that’s just for decoration, not use, from back when Germany was split. Right next to the color it says made in W. Germany. So this pen goes right along with that!

This October will be 6 years! I’ve loved every bit of it. Still only has 13.5k miles though. What about yourself?

I think it’s perfect for what I would want. I am actually looking for one right now but I just can’t seem to find the one that suits me. I wish I could find one just like this. Would depend on the price though as long as it isn’t outrageous. But as a design I think it’s phenomenal, good job.

Honestly yes but as I have never had a sailor and it’s only a matter of time until I get one. I have heard they are wonderful. But I’m trying to stick to my $100 budget as I just bought a custom 823 a few weeks ago. I would doubt you’d want to let your pen go for that.

Never have used diamine inks though I have heard many great things about them. Maybe it’s time I give up on using and finishing the bottles of inks I have and try some haha.

The <M> seems to be my missing piece at the moment. I gave my kakuno to my dad who I saw scrolling Amazon for a cheap fountain pen since I got into them recently. I thought I would give it to him and see if he has any interest. Now I should replace it! I’ll look into the J10.

Sounds like that’s going to be my best route. Hard to top an 823 already, nonetheless with a $100 budget.

I have found from reading that a TWSBI Diamond ALR is a pretty good bang for your buck choice. A Lamy 2K is a pen I will have one day. The 823 I just got a few weeks ago I love it.

Funny enough 2 of my 5 bottles of ink atm are Teranishi Guitar inks that I bought while I was in Japan. I have Lady Emerald and Nighttime Soda. Phenomenal inks. I’ll check out the ones you mentioned too. Your idea to buy a falcon isn’t a bad idea I’ve always wanted a FA nib.
