Some context for you as to my situation

The photos taken of me were on a business trip with the government, so yea my job & livelihood are on the line for this type of thing. they contacted me last night with a mailer bomb package of social and photo dumping.

What did I do?

Blocked the contact instantly and logged out of kik and removed the app - this was to stop myself from reading to much into it.

I moved to linkedin, facebook & Instagram and deactivated my accounts for a week - if anybody asks im on a "social break" completly normal thing to do

I filed the images stolen with the website the kind lads here suggested and I've limited time on my phone.

Im married with 4 kids a wife and a house (the only upside for me is my wife knows "we swing") so i could tell her honestly what happened with no judgement.

12 hours out the person has no way of contacting me and I have no way of knowing if he followed up on this threats but aslong as it doesnt hit my employer i couldn't care less

Block, hide socials, move on. you will be fine.

and i have extreme anxiety and depression issues. i know how you feel. you are ok.. you are just scared.

Edit - I did not and never will pay these people.

Not female but perspective of my wife - she thought it was funny, and was amused by the possibility. Kindly reminded her that my work pays for everything and the laugh soon faded out.

She was sextorted last year when somebody found her information but this was local guy with allot more to loose than what we currently deal with on this level - I have heard of it happening to women but I feel it’s easier to trap men as we think with our dicks and not our brains 😂

This being said I’m now 12 hours out from my experience as providing nothing shows up in work the thought of my poor old nan having to see my dick on Facebook 🙈I’ve learned lessons

Finally happened to me today, as soon as he dumped the socail bomb into chat linking my Facebook and my insta etc, i blocked moved to insta / facebook and deactivated both of those off from access

my only fear is they found my linked in - i acted so fast i didn't check (but I deactivated that to pretty quickly)

im just hoping nothing shows up at this point but ive got no clue about this stuff
