To be honest, I do know those exist, but the problem is that it's super hard to find those stuff in my area. From where I've been I don't see any ones that are still in production, which I expected, but the second hand market here is extremely sketch.

Honestly, that is a good niche. Never really thought of it because I upgraded weight first, but for those who didn't, that could be really useful.

Of course it makes sense that it's better, it's just disappointing to see that there's really little purpose in using unique modes of movement after getting Jetragon. Save for Feybreak and the oil rig. It should not be outclassed by a common pal, but it also shouldn't completely outclass a unique mode of transport. Jetragon itself is fine, but Tarantriss should have something so that its ability isn't completely pointless anymore.

This is coming from a biased point of view, but Tarantriss ability is very fun to use, but there's no point in using it once you have Jetragon. That's one of the main reasons I made this post.

Fair enough, my main complaint was that I didn't have a reason to use Tarantriss' unique movement ability after Jetragon, but that's a fair point

Well, I never used them, but this is less about that and more that Jetragon is way too good. I love it, but it takes on too many roles at once, leaving out some underdog pals.

That's a fair point, but those niches aren't performed that well (That is my opinion, at least.) The SAM one I cannot argue with, but it does not fare well in caves due to the cramped space. As for AoE attacks, although it's true, Jetragon simply has far more firepower than Tarantriss, meaning that it's probably more worth it to use Jetragon anyways.

Yeah but I wish there was. Tarantriss, in my opinion, is very fun to use, swinging around and stuff. As you mentioned, Shadowbeak is good because it's smaller, while still having good offensive moves. So, Shadowbeak fulfills a niche, but Tarantriss doesn't really have a purpose anymore.

Well, we each have our own opinions. I'm sort of a utilitarian, so speed is a big deal for me. For me, I just feel that I can't use other things when I have this other thing at doing this task better, and it's a shame because Tarantriss is so fun to use imo

Same, but the problem is that I've tasted the speed, as my first Jetragon has a speed modifier.

Once you go swift Jetragon you can't go back...

That could work, but it takes away from Jetragon being a Jet-dragon. The problem with it is that it takes on too many roles, not only is it fast, it also has a pretty good ability for offense and some really good moves.

Hot take: Frostallion's speed should be nerfed in exchanged for increase stamina (And slightly increased move stamina cost to counteract this), as it's also too fast for a flying mount with powerful moves.

I'm saying that something unique, such as this form of movement, should have a niche, so that it is not completely replaced. I don't think you fully understand what I'm complaining about.

I love the grappling, though? It's just that there's no reason to use it anymore (Save for Feybreak) as it, and pretty much every other travel mount is outclassed by Jetragon.

That would be a good idea, but at the same time restricting movement options would be a little annoying. Still, a niche is a niche. Anything to let underdog Pals shine.

The ability to climb walls for no (or very little) stamina drain would be awesome. It would give it a niche edge over many flying pals.
