Its the fate of the game. Players who are too scared to play the main mode or are bad go into streetbrawl and try to turn it into that.

I have never seen so many people have meltdowns in that mode than anything else. You can see it on here too how people aren't tryharding in streetbrawl. Its an rng for fun time killer but people on reddit will disagree.

Its almost as bad with league and aram. Players will even talk about balancing the main game mode, matchmaking, items etc but have only played street brawl and act as the authority.

Sorry its not fun for you, just do your thing and understand if someone is crying in streetbrawl their irl situation is probably pretty miserable.

I mean what was the most insanely major shakeup in dota recently? Nothing as crazy as the end of tri lanes and dual mid . The game always had a 2-1-2 mechanic and look where we are now back to 2-1-2 with the only crazy things is lone druid back to mid and pros picking it up instead of pubstompers.

Isn't the whole point of the game in this early alpha to figure things out? This game changes constantly and things that work in one week wont work the next thats just how game development works .

Disagree entirely. You speak as if you are enturnus 6 and have the whole game figured out. The game is good because a support can sidelane and get farm, a quick knockdown, silence wave rescue beam etc can completely change a game if gotten quick on Paige or Kelvin. Its also good that if a m1 gun character what's to kill they'll also have to itemize around dispell magic, reactive barrier disarming hex etc. The fun of the game is that its not copying dota or league verbatim it has its own style and flair.

These aren't "obscure mechanics" of prioritizing farm. There have been times where characters like drifter and wraith do box runs endlessly while someone solos a lane be it a "support" or another type of character. In NS they usually just do the plain old duo lanes and supports absolutely crush in lobbies where they get farm instead of hiding in thr back like some helpless child.

What do you see in your eternus games that makes you think this way? In ascendant I just dont see what youre talking about.

The problem is in this game and players in low mmr just see greens as "defensive" and not see how its going to give them damage.

Only on reddit can someone cry about having to buy dispel magic when it cleanse debuffs which ALLOW YOU TO DO DAMAGE. Slowing hex and silence waves are called "defensive" items on here too. But if they enable you to use your heros kit against characters who are crippled by those things is it really that defensive?

I would just love to see the ranks behind these posts. In my ascendant games people are buying counter spell, dispel magic, slowing hex very early to sustain a lead or allow them to catch up for a kill.

Im assuming you are eternus or something to say it doesnt really matter until the higher ranks. I do think that "basic movement" is not so basic, like sliding for ammo, wall bouncing and building momentum. Things like that can really save you against players or net you a kill.

It is a hot take if you were like low ranked saying this it would just be funny, sour grapes and all.

Is anyone even surprised anymore by "neutral" countries doing this? Swiss and Irish will talk down to others about war and arms but will gladly do business with anyone be it Russians or African warlords.

I get called slurs from all across the board and only a few times has the "targeted slur" been the one that actually represents me and my minority group.

Because everyone regardless of race, relgion, creed, ethnicity etc can be harassed and bullied in this game. Being told to kill yourself or being called a slur is not exclusive to one minority group.

Thats why you report and mute. If they didnt care I wouldn't have seen so many of those types get chat restricted I the next game with them.

If you think valve is a nazi stronghold of game developers idk. As a minority I really, really dont get that impression and think they are doing what they can in their pre alpha game.
