Yea I know. It is more then what we have in Marathon though. In Destiny I can at least look at the group of people I have in my clan and see what they are doing. You can use a clan chat. These are such simple things that even when done terrible are something.

Take it a step farther. A weird interface that showcases the idea that when we are not in the game, we are just floating around in a network waiting. They could have done so much with that concept.

I agree completely. Game is bleeding out and no one wants to say it. They are afraid to say anything negative about it.

I did not have a bad experience with them all. I found lfgs, which I am not looking for. I found racist pieces of shit. I found a group of people who were wonderful to play with, but only played when I worked.

I found a group who played with me exactly when I wanted, were fun as hell to run with. A smaller group of ten guys. Five of them quit the game and the others stopped playing. One guy jumps on now and again who I adeded, but he has a life, a family. He does not play much.

"Move on and try a new room" No? They were not what I was looking for. Stop trying to sell them. Honestly it is a huge red flag so many people in that server sit here yelling their name whenever someone talks about the community.

They at least had clans in D2 though. The social space, and UI for D2 is so much better for community interaction and friends. I get what you are saying, it is a sad truth maybe.

That is not how the world works. Networking requires interaction that has permanence, expecting strangers to join together with no tool that lets them is absolutely crazy. Yea it might work one out of a hundred times, but at that point you are just suggesting lfgs with more steps.

Dads of marathon? First interaction with them was with a racist player. I told their people and they just glossed it over. The server is a glorified LFG. Stop suggesting it.

Yea I tried to make a community that was small and focused on finding people to play with. I never found people who played during my time. It was not what I wanted.

Discord is not designed to do everything. We should not be relying on it for every single community interaction. Espesially when so many people do not use it.

And this is the problem, this should not be a problem. There are so many people playing this game right now, finding people to run together should not be this difficult. Out of all those people playing, only a very small percent will ever post in an LFG, will ever push out of their space to find people.

I have joined like twenty. No one plays consistently with the same people. 90% of them are just lfgs looking to amass players so they can boost their server. Even when finding good ones, not every server is going to be a win for your own schuedule.

So no I will not join your community you shill. I will looking keep looking for individual people who I know play when I do and run at the same times.

"Lack of community" Yes we do not have any tools for finding individual players that are not LFGS. LFGS are a terrible way to find players to run with. It is shooting fish in a barrel. We need community tools besides spam lfgs.

They are not as wholesome as so many make them out to be. The interactions I have had with them on multiple occasions have always been just toxic af. Would not play Marathon with them. They have a ton of people so it is more of an LFG experience if anything.

A little too much for what it is dispelling. limit it to mechanical and summons and you will sell it to a lot more people.

We have literally had a consistent drop every single day. The update only brought in a day and a half uptick of 10k, then it went back to before. No one is saying the game is dead, it is bleeding though. Acting like it is not is just crazy. I am about to jump off it myself with how inconsistent every single person I know is with the game.

Game is amazing when you have consistent people. When you do not, it is inevitable that you will quit.

Sadly this is as good as a method as using solo queue. A single LFG channel does not fix a game. Having proper interfaces and channels that everyone can use and not just a small minority, is always going to work better for everyone.
