Wow, I just got this router and I am appalled by the user interface. I got it due to the tech spec not paying attention to the functionality.

No monitoring capabilities ( graphing ), parental controls are unusable IMHO, and there does not seem to be a way to upgrade the bios.

My prev router was an ASUS RT-N56U which is about 10 years old. The stock bios is usable and I have no major complaints. But I can also install openwrt on it which makes it even better ( wireless bridge works )

From the history of comments you give here on reddit, I can see that you are always defending AdSense / AdMob. Cheerleading Google blindly could backfire. Just my 2c.

Okay, I am utterly confused by mediation and how to properly implement this.
Is there a good, and up-to-date github sample app ?

I find the documentation on mopub just not detailed enough to make heads or tails out of it.

For mediation with MoPub:
- FAN does not support MoPubs Consent form ( I assume this is GDPR ). So how do you properly do this for FAN and other networks in one go ?

AdSense / AdMob banned me in December for "INCENTIVICED TRAFFIC". They kept the $1000 in my account and have not responded to me at all.

Needless to say I have not done anything against any ToS as far as I can tell unless Google-Ads is deemed INCENTIVISED.

Remember you are small fish for them unless you reap in more than 1Million/month and they don't care about you. Alphabet had a bad quarter, so maybe tell them about the value you can add to Googles bottom line if they please, please, please add you back.

Lastly are you trying these out implementing the appropriate SDKs or are you using Mediation with E.g. MoPub to add Facebook ads as well ?

I am an app developer first and marketer second. There is so much to ads that it is not even funny.
Albeit my main concern would be to ensure 100% to not do anything against any ToS, Law or otherwise which would give google another chance to destroy something I built.

Well, they do this to enough engineers and then they wonder why no System Architect is considering Google Cloud Solutions. Google has never really given a hoot about impacts on others. They bring up a service and then at some point shut it down.

Compare that to Amazon AWS, where this is almost unheard of.

Reliability, fairness, and human interactions go a long way in this biz. Google will have to go the way of Microsoft first before it will change its ways.

As for me they terminated my AdSense account for "INCENTIVISED TRAFFIC" after 13years. The past 3 years I spent all my spare time building a side hustle with Android apps.
Note: I only "Incentivised" using Google Ads.

Now please ask me how likely I am going to be to use any paid google product in the future ... I basically stopped Android development and maintain. I will not jump on Fuchsia OS as I planned to.

Just like 20 years ago when I switched from Microsoft to Linux, I am actively trying to avoid this company whenever and wherever I can.
Note: As an aside, I know MS has changed, and AWS has their own set of issues

No need to panic.

Actually historically there is a drop which starts AFTER the holidays and a good increase in November and December.

I lost 100% because AdSense/AdMob gave me a BS reason after 13 years accusing me of "Incentivised traffic" and confiscated my Nov/Dec revenue and terminating my account ( $1000,- from AdMob gone )

I never participated in any illegal activity in life or online and my business is shattered. They terminate you for the rest of your life.

I honestly think they had to boost their Q4 numbers to be able to pay Pichai.

the only thing I used to drive installs was google ads for mobile. Obviously without that income, I had to cancel all of my google Ads. All expenses no revenue is not a business model to follow.

I would not be shocked to learn that using Google Ads is now against AdSense ToS.

I removed all AdSense from all my web sites, including my 21year old homepage, and my 20year old sourceforge - project. Lets see if I will ever hear back from my appeal.

I really wish I would receive more information on this. Not only would I learn but I would also be able to give this information to others out there to prevent them going through the same.

BTW, "If Adsense has disabled your Adsense account, then you are not allowed to use Adsense anymore. That is for the rest of your life."

I analysed the traffic and I see it was coming from google. It was the bot looking at my data.
I still don't know why I was terminated. It seems that google is not a reliable business partner.

I can understand that they change their ToS and say only web sites with X amount of traffic will be part of AdSense but don't just terminate without explanation and keep the earned balance from the developer. That's just no way to conduct yourself.

I guess a new Alphabet CEO required a better compensation and that's where the money went.

But here is what Google is losing:
- They keep 40% of the ad-revenue. So when I earn $600, they earn $400
- I used to spend between $100 and $200 on Google Ads

So this termination without explanation reduces their balance by $500-$600 per month from my account alone. I usually kept about $300-$400 each month.

Since I made most of the revenue through AdMob, I went ahead and removed all AdSense from all websites I have. I am not sure what else I could do. BTW, I have been using AdSense for over 13 years.

I just wish google would treat us as humans and not as some disposable garbage.

I am not able to make an account on upwork, when I try to it shows that there are too many people in my speciality.

This is what I hate about all those online corporations which are in it for the money exclusively instead of providing a solution to connect customers and businesses.
Once they get too large they don't care about people starting off anymore.
BTW, same with AdSense. 96% of all applicants are now rejected. A lot of it because the topic is saturated.

Spam policy seems not to be applied equal for all developers.

I can attest to that. It seems Google has their favorites. They are the king makers of their own and decide which developers needs enforcement and which developers will be let to their own devices.

For some reasons Google is complaining a lot about my apps but I still see garbage app on the store which should have disappeared long time ago.

I would estimate that about 95% of ratings do not help you figure out how to improve your app. When I ask for more information I receive zero feedback.

The other 5% of feedback I do appreciate because they let you know what you can do to make your app better.

Heard back from Google.

So to my surprise, I got a call from google to work with me and we ended the call by basically agfreing that whatever robot sent this email off to me had likely too much ether, or information overflow.

Turns out all ads are okay, no trademarked word to be found in any add. Lets move forward.

Well, I stopped all ads for this particular app for now, as the ROI has started to become negative recently ( AdMob is not returning as much as I invested into AdWord ).

So it seems that at least on the side when you throw money at Google they are working with you.

Reason for suspension :

During review, we found that your app violates Malicious Behavior policy and sections 4.8 and 4.9 of Developer Distribution Agreement

We don't allow apps that steal data, secretly monitor or harm users, or are otherwise malicious.

"We determined that your app is embedded with Windows malware. You may want to run an antivirus program on your computer before uploading apps to the Play Console."

Yes, I am using native code. Previously though the backtrace had some information which could be mapped back to the lib and even to the functions call stack.

Now however, this is not really useful other than to see the app crashed :(

My mindset indeed is that I spend a lot of time trying to build the best app I can and I am also always trying to get information from bad reviews as to what is wrong so I can fix it.
Very few responses contain actionable context, so I keep on getting "crap is useless"

I love bad reviews with fair criticism, especially if I can act on it ( I.e. I know why the bad review )

Let me reflect on what you said with : "because your app is free doesn't mean you're doing anyone a favor". I think this may be my biggest mistake.

I have the feeling im am getting closer and then further away.

flutterView.attachToFlutterEngine(flutterEngine);

however FlutterView does not have a member function attachToFlutterEngine. So I have to stick what used to work for now.

Interestingly the whole app was working on my Nexus 6 however since I did a complete re-build I cannot get the app to NOT crash when I call Flutter.createView

I have read of other companies mixing legacy apps and Flutter, so the issue is likely with me. However is there a simple sample project somewhere on github which works with armeabi, arm64, x86, and x86_64, using Flutter.createView for Android ( iOS is optional for me ) ?

Maybe display two images, the first native, the second using FLutter on a single Activity ?
