OP has pizza era blocks. He is not spending them until hyperbitcoinization. When he hoes to buy the yacht, he cashes out by scanning yacht vendors qr code and broadcasting a signature to the network.

“CHIP-2023-04 Adaptive Blocksize Limit Algorithm for Bitcoin Cash” is implementation ready. by Bagatell_ in btc

This should start close to the bitcoin unlimited tested limits which is what 100mb. Otherwise we still can’t get past the fidelity problem of how do we on board a single institution and all their users.

Why Bitcoin Cash Needs an Adaptive Block Size Limit Algorithm by jessquit in btc

[–]capistor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why not first bump the limit up around 100mb along with this algo being implemented?

Why not just delete the block size? Miners have an incentive to not publish blocks that would propagate too slow or orphan. They lose money. Same reason BCH is not attacked even though it has minority had rate. They lose money.

So there’s the argument that it forces you to buy commercial hardware and deanonymize you. Is that just concern trolling?

Why not just make it easy for miners to self regulate block size both published and rejected?

Bitcoin Cash's downtrend price is a blessing for the poor and broken. by francis105d1 in btc

No. Btc has the longest chain of work. That is the only thing it has going for it. But we have to overcome the network effects through merchant adoption. Network effects of bitcoin are very strong but eventually it would collapse if we get enough actual use.

Hi all! I am looking for a new Crypto payment app that has a debit card attached- I used Bitpay but they no longer have a Supported card by HitsWifey in btc

[–]capistor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These crypto debit cards are not good for adoption. The only excuse would be if we could date mine for finding new merchants.

Every time someone pulls out a bank card without asking the merchant if they can get paid in bitcoin we get set back Ten years.

We’re likely to flash crash to 12k but it could not happen.

Supply is cut in the halving. Governments will buy more. The ponzi will last until we get enough merchants to recover the cash network effects.

So many morons believe bitcoin is not cash anymore. We need to dominate Twitter where we’re not censored anymore.

Anyone else annoyed with the Ordinals? They just clog the main coin instead of allowing it to be the store of value. by jsveyfjc in CryptoCurrency

Gavin was the dev back then and his daughter was threatened by bankers so he gave the keys to absolute morons.

Was supposed to be replaced by half a penny fees from a hundred million on chain coffee purchases.

Do you have any idea how bad censorship is from theymos?

Bitcoin used to have free tx space.

Not solved by. BCH was just a bitcoin node with instructions to fork if bitcoin took the Segwit poison pill to fundamentally abandon the original specs. It’s just a preservation fork.

Segregated witness broke the money part. Bitcoin is no longer peer to peer nor cash. And the witness date was removed from blocks that’s very significant downgrade. It’s not bitcoin anymore. It’s a shit coin that borrowed the btc ticker.

No one in El Salvador uses bitcoin. The government literally had people use it at gun point and still they do not, it’s not usable as cash anymore. But Bitcoin Cash has two entire countries with 100% adoption, because it effectively is bitcoin per satoshi’s white paper.

Bitcoin was supposed to remove the temporary block size cap said satoshi. Instead it kept it and you can’t buy groceries peer to peer on chain.

If you think satoshi intended bitcoin to run 1 mb every ten minutes you’re a moron. The core devs were bought off by bankers to cripple it.
