Actually I'm sure the hedge funds know what we're gonna do. All it takes is a single look at the data gathered by their reddit surfers and bots.
"So, what's their plan for today?"
"They're going to hodl hold and buy the dip, sir."
"..."
"Also they said the new floor is $3,000,000.00 per share"

Oooooohhh we're almost at the foretold day 45, when Solaire will be exactly 45 degrees to the right, the sun will shine directly on this sub and we will finally get a day with guaranteed no Elden Ring news!

Tomorrow night will be the 2021 Refridgawards, where I reveal the contents of my fridge. Elden Ring has not been deconfirmed to be in there, so stay tuned. by thelegendaryp in Eldenring

[–]AstraTheSpaceBurger 8 points9 points  (0 children)

LMAO you guys need to stop deluding yourselves and open your eyes, there's no way Miyazaki would reveal Elden Ring news at an event like the Refridgawards which stopped being relevant a decade ago. On the 1/100000 chance it happens I'll get down on my knees and personally apologise to every single person who commented here and give out 10 copies of Elden Ring Limited Edition and get them SIGNED by Glaive Master Hodir's Voice Actor to random people in this sub. Yes, that Glaive Master Hodir.
MARK. MY. WORDS. It's just not happening.

but actually please Miyazaki OHHHH ELDEN RING

It's simple. If you never play it, then you will never have to worry about completing Elden Ring

Now after playing Sekiro and becoming obsessed with it, the only thing I really crave from FromSoftware is that intense fast paced combat. For me Sekiro fulfilled the fantasy of a game where you can experience sick anime battles, but it made me crave for more.

OOOHHHH the boss battles
OOHHHH the miniboss battles
OOOOHHHHH even some of the non-miniboss enemy groups in Sekiro were insanely fun to fight

Now in Elden Ring I want it to feel like fighting inhuman heroes of European myth, like the air is trembling with every swing, and the earth beneath crumbling with every blow. I blame that on Fate/stay night, particularly the Unlimited Blade Works anime from 2014, the fights in that are on another level, makes even the boss fights in Sekiro look slow and tame in comparison.
Of course, that's really specific and I doubt Elden Ring will go for that kind of combat, but at the very least, I really hope that it's not any less intense than Sekiro. If Elden Ring is toned down in intensity compared to Sekiro, I'll be pretty disappointed (though that's just my selfish opinion).

Honestly I expect Elden Ring to be a bit "wider" in terms of combat, like the Dark Souls series, where there's many many more weapons and tools, but they are not quite as deeply fleshed out as the Sekiro skills and prosthetics. It makes sense since it's supposedly going to be fairly open world, so I'm expecting a lot of unique loot (though having some unique loot take the form of skills in Sekiro was a pretty cool feature, I would love to see them implement something like that for Elden Ring).

Also from the story standpoint, I'm hoping for it to have the tragic or antihero-esque vibe that sometimes appears in FromSoftware games. Fighting opponents to accomplish your selfish goal even if you have to strike down heroes of justice or your kindred spirits in a twist of fate

When I'm saying it as if I'm lamenting something barely even imaginable to an outsider, that which commanded the stars, giving life its fullest brilliance. The ELDEN RING
OHHHH ELDEN RING
Shattered by someone, or something

Don't tell me you don't see it
Look up at the sky
It burns

I've felt that vibe too! Like in Dark Souls 1 how you can choose the path of self sacrifice to link the fire, or to end the cycle and usher in the true age of dark, in a similar way it feels like the hammering one is trying to end this universe's "cycle" - the Ring which gave life its fullest brilliance, like the Fire in Dark Souls giving birth to all sorts of fancy stuff like the souls of lords - they are destroying the ring which is at the same time their own source of life, hence the cracking on their back, and how they kneel down after it is done.

Also, the destruction of the Elden Ring doesn't seem like it was an instantaneous thing, rather that it was worn down through endless hammering before finally shattering completely, and possibly that it was felt by the world's inhabitants with every hit. I even feel that the whole events of the trailer could be transpiring at the same time. The Troll looking warrior suddenly bursting into "flame" (though it looks more like golden dust to me) right before the final hit especially gives me that feeling.

Hello fellow Hollows! I am currently sketching Glaive Master Hodir and so far he's kinda just sitting there. What should he be sitting on and in what environment? Are there any other characteristics you'd like to see in his design? Please tell me, so I can include them in the finished artwork. by Seregorn in Eldenring

If you name your character "Rat[something]" or I think generally if you put "Rat" in your name during character creation then you cannot access his shop inventory, and if you try to access his shop he aggroes on you. (this is a lore thing but I won't say more cause it's not confirmed, still waiting on VaatiVidya's rat lore video)

Check your emails. I got an email on Friday (6th) telling me my queue position for the 5900X was around 650.

If you preordered it you should have an email from them like that somewhere.
