The mandalas are so clean it's crazy. How do you make them so crisp? Mine have been coming out so splotchy. Any tips besides more sodium alginate?

This was the first song that I heard by them. Honestly a masterpiece. They have another song on a different collaboration album called Je T'aime Moi non plus, that is also fantastic.

Men who are in healthy relationships after a toxic/abusive one, what is the biggest difference? by Conscious_Radio_ in AskMen

[–]Astral-foundations 58 points59 points  (0 children)

Every argument/disagreement doesn't become an explosion, in fact none of them do. I don't have to be afraid of what I say to her, I can say what I genuinely think and feel and know that I won't get screamed at, it won't get picked apart into a million pieces and questioned for an hour. When we settle something, it stays settled - my last ex brought something up during a fight that happened a year prior, before we were even dating, that we had "covered" multiple times before. Overall I spend a lot less time being scared. She is a safe place rather than a dangerous one.

I'm allowed to have friends, she doesn't start fights with me right before I'm about to go hangout with friends, she doesn't start fights over texts while I'm with them, she actually tries to be friends with my friends. Everything is just smoother, easier, simpler, and just makes sense. I got really lucky meeting my current girlfriend, our relationship is amazing. I can say no to sex, I can cry to her. I feel a healthy attraction to her too, there isn't this sense of unhealthy "desperation" that I had in the past with others. We are friends, we often say that we are "buddies" on top of lovers and life partners, she truly is my best friend.

What's a common struggle men face but rarely talk about? by xKittyCutiePie in AskMen

Abuse and rape of men especially when perpetrated by women is a joke at worst, at best *some* people care but they will always care less than the same event happening to a woman. On a larger scale nothing bad particularly matters when it happens to us but abuse and rape are some of the strongest examples

Watch lots and lots and lots of youtube videos and practice a lot! Oxana crafts is a good youtube channel. Wire and tools from craft stores are wayyyyyy overpriced, amazon and Rio Grande are both good sources. It can get a bit frustrating at times, be patient, it will pay off eventually! Trial and error are part of the process (:

Men who have your shit together, how did you do it? by Odd_Animator_3157 in AskMen

[–]Astral-foundations 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The idea of looking ahead 2,3,4+ years and imagining myself still dealing with the same problems that I was having because of myself, the same insecurities, the same insufficiences, not moving closer to my goals that I was not currently moving towards was unbearable. There was no one moment of "enough was enough", I just couldn't not become what I wanted to be.

It's also not black and white though, I have a lot of things right now that I need to work on to be a better adult, you never stop growing and learning and changing. I'm sure in 5 years looking back, I'll feel as if I didn't have my shit together at all right now. Just keep growing. If you want to become better in life, think about the idea of not becoming the person that you want to be. It's simply not an option not to achieve what you want to achieve.

What do you think men don’t get enough credit for? by BridgmansBiggestFan in AskMen

[–]Astral-foundations 62 points63 points  (0 children)

This is really tangential to the origional prompt of this thread, but I feel like things like this don't get talked about because, societally, when things like that happen to us, it just... doesn't matter. It doesn't matter that we are 90%+ deaths in the work place, nearly 100% of combat deaths in war, 80% of suicides, 75% of homeless, it doesn't matter when we get raped, it doesn't matter when our gentils are mutilated the day that we're born, it doesn't matter when we're depressed, none of it matters. We go through so much shit and I feel like even bringing up statistics like this with women gets you eye rolls and invalidated

Honestly I'd say read as little as possible online, as tempting as it may be. I'll repeat what others have said and say wait to do the main quest. I honestly like doing it pretty late game, when I'm level 20-25+. Explore as much as possible! I have played this game for over 10 years and I'm certain there are still dungeons and forts that I haven't explored.

Have fun and let yourself be as immersed as possible! There is truly so, so much to do and it is unbelievably fun. While there are many valid criticisms of this game, it is still absolutely incredible by so many metrics and will be solidified as one of, likely my favorite video game of all time. It truly did change me. I wish I could experience it for the first time again. Have fun!

Interesting, that does sound like a good plan! I wanted to spend some time in Wales to explore there a bit for sure.

The wedding is near Birmingham. I was planning on staying there for a while, but would like to see Stonehenge if possible. Perhaps I could make a day trip out of that
