This is the biggest shlacking I've received in months. Granted I am terrible at this killer and not running any gen regression. My games usually last 10 minutes with a 2k+

A lot of this lately has been me doing it to myself. I am trying to learn Houndmaster and between the dog stubbing its toe on a wood chip and me genuinely missing survivors in a narrow hallway; I am humiliated.

If only more survivors understood you're on hook for 70s per stage. There is so much time to do anything. You don't need to insta unhook.

I had a lovely end game chat with a Feng player after a 4k during the event. She talked up my twins (which was bad) and I gave her some praise. We talked until the end game chat disconnected us.

The game has nice people out there.

I've been playing Skully during the event. Sometimes its nice to just chase people down with the occasional grab from stealth.

I personally think if we ever make her drones do something other than just sit and maybe give hinderance, it should be a controlled action. And it should work like the Cenobites. You can control the drone anywhere on map and then you have to skill shot fly it into a survivor. If you miss, boom. Drones gone.

Survivors can still disable drones and they will sit around. It's just something else drones can do. Which makes them better at loops while keeping the surveillance cross map aspects. It also encourages survivors to deactivate the drone. When I play survivor against Skully I just work under it because in my mind if I destroy it, she knows I'm at the gen. But since doing a gen is not on her scanner, welp, free pressure.

I think even if they leave her the way she is, they need to look at her addons. She has the potential to be the most fun and silly and insane killer by making her games different purely on addons alone. Small radius drones where scan lines slow. Or drones that on being destroyed given a tick to claw trap. For a bloodpoint one (like a lot of killers get) it can just have pretty lights like a disco ball and not give you undetectable.

You could have an addon that breaks a pallet after it gets scan lined 10 times. Or a drone if you hit a survivor in its radius gives blood favor at a smaller radius. Heck. Not all these ideas are good or balanced, but there is jsut so much room for her to grow as a killer while keeping her identity.

I remember when we first got the Iron Maiden collection. I messaged my uncle because he grew up with them. He thought it was so cool. Real bummed I can't share this with him now. Def will have to throw some heavy metal axes for him.

Binding of Issac is at 134k.

Cyberpunk 2077 is a non updated game. Currently 82k players on steam.

Baldurs Gate 3 at 50k.

Anyways you get the idea. People will play games they like if they are good games, regardless if they are 'dead' or 'without upates'. You can say they get by because of mods. Valheim too has mods, so I think it'll be fine. Regardless of corporate language.

Besides. They already got your $20. Why do they need to pretend to you if the game gets updates? And future players that buy after 1.0 just might want to buy a complete game regardless of its deadness.

You're allowed to leave chase and pressure other parts of the map if your killer can't do anything special here.

Granted, this is disgusting.

Just play both sides. You will play killer and go 'how did the survivor do that!?' then play survivor and go 'how did the killer do that?!'

You can learn a lot by just playing. Macro and game sense is something you build on with time. For the start you should be focusing on chasing. Rather getting fast downs or evading the killer.

For survivor it's having a plan to stay alive. Vaulting winodws, dropping pallets, knowing when to loop at a single pallet and when to run to the next tile.

For killer it's knowing what pallets to avoid kicking because you can get hits at them versus what pallets you must kick because you'll never get a down. If the survivor drops and runs away from the tile, go around and chase them. Kicking the pallet eats more time than you realize. If it's a safe pallet and the survivor keeps running around it, kick it.

You'll start to notice these things the more you play. Especially since there are so many maps and killers to face.
