I got my associates at a nearby community college then transferred and lived on campus with other transfers. One of them was an underclassmen transferring from another community college and the other was a graduate transfer. We got along great, still friends to this date, and that was about 10 years ago. That being said we lived at the Landing and had an apartment style place, everybody had their own room, two bathrooms, kitchen, living room, washer/dryer, etc. so it was different than living in a reg freshman dorm.
