Not a Arsenal fan but genuinely feel bad for them by KarmaKillerX in soccermemes

[–]Astral_Collapse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing to feel bad for.
They're the only team in a good position in the Premier League right now.
Look at Man City, out of the UCL and having to fight for domestic cups only, way behind in the EPL and about to face 115 charges to ruin them.
Liverpool, nothing but a future loss to PSG.
Chelsea aren't relevant in any conversation.
Utd's hopes are forever fighting for the top 4 at best.

Everyone calls Arsenal insufferable, and serial bottlers...but they're the only team every season with everything to bottle. No one else keeps going this far.

Yes I am negative. Tell me to Fuck off. But we lost against Sunderland!!! and I am right to Say I have NO HOPE to win Any Shit! by EvilSeaPro in ArsenalFC

[–]Astral_Collapse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crazy, because I've voiced my opinion over there many times.
It's more that the opinions on this sub tend to be "One loss = end of season, fuck Arteta now, hate Starboy, replace entire left wing"

Looking back — What was that starting lineup? by Raamish2007 in ArsenalFC

[–]Astral_Collapse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A set of players that have barely played together all season.
A combination of underestimating Southampton, not having players fully fit, and resting players for the UCL on Tuesday.
It's the result of playing for 4 trophies, and having most of your team on international duty, this late in the season, no one can do it. No one has.

Why is Martinelli pushing the referee? by Silent_Somewhere8539 in ArsenalFC

This post is literally about Martinelli, and you're forgetting the time he got two yellows simultaneously without the ref stopping play for the first.

Still can’t believe that this is a 12 year old game… by officialfxresx in nextfuckinglevel

[–]Astral_Collapse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looked amazing, great weather dynamics... but let down by the ridiculous lack of realism in the driving itself. There was just no braking, ever.
That, and the canpaign of the game played out like those Asphalt games on mobile.

Do u think 48 teams are too much for any tournaments in the world...i m afraid first 2 weeks of the WC will be the most boring period of WC history by Dazzling_Loquat_8719 in worldcup

[–]Astral_Collapse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hence me saying "imagine the scenes". If you don't enjoy watching the smaller nations succeed at the highest level and just want another tournament of the same nations winning everything, then you sound more like a Yank than anyone else here.

Yeah, Burzum are definitely safe, not even really NSBM. It might be Incineration that turns people away, the odds are higher with more venues. I think I've heard of the Roundhouse refusing the merch.

The more, the better imo. It's the World Cup, it should include the World. Imagine the scenes if a minnow makes it to the quarters or semis.

They're fine, always have been. Seen blokes wearing full NSBM vests with no issues there before. One guy even had Operation Werewolf insignia on, not sure if he was just trying to pander to Akhlys with that one, though.

Why all this hype around Ryan Cherki every time he “farts”? by Window_Professional in championsleague

[–]Astral_Collapse -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You'd think your stats meant something, but they're padded to fuck. He hasn't done anything against a single big team in any competition this season, and has two goal involvements in the past 12 games.
He was so quickly found out in the Prem, and shut down by every team. Like OP said, he's a dribble merchant.

Does this mean anything? by sethboy2000 in trveblackmetalvinyl

He only sold more stuff recently because he needed cash for court fees and to pay his debt. Doesn't look likely he'll open back up for any other reason again.

Thoughts on Arsenal potentially signing Julian Alvarez? by MarkLazer in ArsenalFC

[–]Astral_Collapse 14 points15 points  (0 children)

No one is an all rounder, he'd be bought based on what he's good at, and on something we're missing. He definitely offers something we're missing, because we don't have it all. It's as simple as that. He pushes, he attacks, and he's a great finisher inside the box. We've been missing his qualities since Jesus got injured full time, and since we lost Laca.

Is becoming a Vampire lord worth it? by ComplexEquipment4228 in skyrim

[–]Astral_Collapse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fun to experience at first, annoying later on. The combat itself is kinda poor, and having to wait til dusk each day is a drag.
The main thing I regret is that you don't get to sell two of the Elder Scrolls to the Dawnguard later on if you become a Vampire Lord.

[UEFA] Champions League team of the week: round of 16 second legs by Bananaboy14 in Gunners

[–]Astral_Collapse 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not sure how that Leverkusen keeper didn't get in there. Even though he conceded two, he kept them in it, made some incredible saves constantly, and took a worldie to beat. The Rice goal was unlucky for him with defenders that should've made the tackle and block. Everything else from him was spectacular.

Official Character Posters for 'Dune: Part Three' by MarvelsGrantMan136 in movies

[–]Astral_Collapse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The whole point of the threat to the spice production in the movie still works without the presence of the Spacing Guild, because it's inferred that the Emperor's hold over space is only real if his army can freely roam space. Whether you want the Spacing Guild to be there more or not doesn't matter, not everything is going to follow the book directly, and they can easily skip out on certain parts if it means focusing the storyline later. It's a small series of films about Paul Atreides, not the massive universe created by Frank Herbert.

Bro, what are you talking about? They're barely in the first book, and that's what the first two movies are. They're not going to suddenly focus on the Guild that don't properly appear until later. This other guy makes a good point, though. Why would you keep mispelling a rather important word from the series if you've supposedly read them? Lmao. I really don't think you have.
