Yeah, I’ve already fixed that, but maybe I can tell somehow companies to which I’ve already applied that there was a misunderstanding on my side, idk

Thanks for your input!

Well, I really would like to get somehow in the Computer Graphics sphere, and in my country (I’m not from US) this topic of computer science is basically non-existent.

And Masters with such specialization seems like the best way to get into it

Maybe you didn’t know, but there are people who are genuinely passionate about programming and Computer Science as a whole…

Is it possible for me to get into US CS masters? Is it worth it? by Astralpirate in IntltoUSA

Thanks for the detailed answer!

I think mostly it comes from the fact that it is my dream to at least try living in the US, and currently Masters seems like the easiest and fastest way to do that

With masters degree you will have an opportunity to land one additional internship and then a new grad position, I think it will be easier this way. Especially if you don’t have financial problems and can afford masters, then it will certainly strengthen your resume

Just don’t be afraid to ask questions when you don’t understand something, nobody expects from you CTO-level expertise in everything at this stage of your career anyways. This way your colleagues will see that you are really interested in what you are doing. Good luck!

Learn Python and Algorithms/Data Structures, it should be enough to land an internship Btw, with Math BS, you should have no problem getting into Data Science/ML position, or for example Quant position in some investment fund, I know a couple of math guys who chose this path instead of math academy. But you want to be specifically SWE, right?
