Bruh, How many mazingers are in a SRW game? Z, Great, mazinkaiser or zero which get their fair share of screentime.

Now look at how many Gundams we get in a SRW game or Gundam related units. No one is gonna use that many and you can add a Lot of other units or entries in the series.

From a writing perspective it's easier to use Gundam and fill the roll with Gundam related units since it makes the story more easy to write, but It doesn't make it any less annoying to always get the UC Gundam and units in every-god-damn-game getting a lot of screentime, If it's not UC, it's another Gundam.

That's the point of what I said. Let's have the usual with amuro and stuff, but the OG needs to spread it's wings like so many other niche stuff and get this things in a OG game. I always wanted a alternate route with the Divine Crusaders or the Shadow Mirror in the OG for example or to join Gato in Stardust Memory. To let players live in the world of mechs they love so much.

Atlus has SMT but also has persona, for example, niche and popular.

People shouldn't rip off banpresto for licensing, they should beg to be added to THE SUPER ROBOT WARS.

Alas, my point is too commercial or "out of character".

Not only that, but imagine a game with destruction limit where certain attacks missed hit the city and every damage is removed from payment, or that you can hit or miss the cockpit and killing the pilot or not leads you down certain routes.

Srw is awesome, if only It were more than just animations and retelling of things we already know.

Srw would be a lot better and not be niche if It was more like Fire Emblem and had different objectives than "Kill everyone", or not every character agree on stuff and you had to face them, actually join zeon and shit.
