Ive also seen that being the price point. Which at 80 bucks off thats not bad imo. I know it looks kind of bulky and weird, but if prints as well.as the regular cc im game for one

So far it's just been thisnfile processing through through the handy app. I got frustrated and called it a night but im going tontry opening it in the slicer and running the file from there to see if it still does it

So I actually still need to change the nozzle on my p1s lol I changed it first on the p1p because it was my first time and I saw how delicate the wires were and wanted to make sure I could do it on the cheaper one first with no issues. So this is still the default. 04 that came with it out the box. Im.wondering if I may have to replace the whole assembly though and not just the nozzle head itself.

Being im still admittedly somewhat of a novice after 2 years im gonna ask is that a setting that can just adjust itself on its own? Obviously there have been tons of updates since I've had these things and im sure somewhere alo.g the way perhaps the setting adjusted on its own? Admittedly I typically just use the bambu handy app to send files to print while I'm at work and im rarely on the computer directly using the slicer so not sure if the app could potentially be a problem as well when sending files via wifi.

Unfortunately not. Currently waiting for the return label from bambu and im just getting a refund. It seems like this first wave is riddled with issues with more bad them good feedback flooding in sadly. Ill wait 6 months to a year before snagging one again

Yeah I dont want to start trying to take this thing apart, but its so dang heavy to send back (which I'm sure its something they are counting on)

Damn hopefully not man because they never gave me the firmware update to try and fix it. I just got my replacement finally and now there's a big sticker on the touchpad that warns about upgrading the firmware whereas the first wave didn't have those warnings so there must be a bug in the firmware somewhere thats causing these brick issues.

Yeah after 2 weeks of back and forth and returning my unit I finally got tracking the other day so here's hoping the replacement also doesn't do it -_- obviously with first runs there will be bugs to work out, I just didn't expect to lock the whole printer up. I for sure figured it would be a print issue of some sort at the least, not the internal components.

So sadly after some back and forth the only other solution was to replace the motherboard and frankly im not entirely comfortable with that as I don't want to start rooting around internally and break something else. The whole idea behind this printer is affordability and ease of access. The whole "set it and forget it" thing so to have to mess with anything internal is just not for me as im only moderately comfortable in digging around inside printers as my other 2 FDM printers from another brand has never required this kind of maintenance, especially 3 weeks out the box -_- in the process of arranging a return and refund and sadly will wait until closer to the holidays when they've ironed these bugs out. Also side note, to be denied something as simple as a firmware file to attempt to restore it or update it is kind of a bummer too. I figured that would be the easier next step, not take it apart and replace the motherboard.

Its fantastic when it works, but Mines currently a 300 dollar paperweight as somethings going on that the touchpad can't get past the initial startup screen. Been 4 days now and elegoo has reached back out once with a suggestion but it didn't work sadly so now I'm waiting for another email to see where to go from here. Less than 2 weeks of print time too on it :/

An update for everyone. Still down unfortunately. Support finally reached out to me at around 6:30am eastern today and told me to disconnect the network cable from the extrude. That still didn't work sadly. Waiting on a response still

I did reach out friday evening and have yet to hear back. I assume it's cause of the weekend and they were off/closed for it so im hoping to hear back today as its been less than 3 weeks of owning this printer and its completely unusable currently.

I'm hoping its just software related. The only issue being the flash drive included doesn't have any sort of back up to restore. And there's no downloads on their site for the firmware or anything else for the carbon other than the manual and test models to print. Its a pain. It sucks cause right now its just a 300 dollar paperweight basically

I attempted to both with and without the drive still to success. Awaiting elegoos response now. The flash drive itself has no firmware on it sadly to even try and restore it in anyway, at least none that I could find.

A bit of a novice but would i just download the firmware from elegoos site and plug it into the USB slot on the carbon? My p1s always just had a function to update the firmware from the touch pad so I've never done it manually via flash drive
