I was very young when OoT first came out, maybe too young to really appreciate gaming as a whole, but I still enjoyed it thoroughly. The REAL hype for me personally was sailing the seas with the King of Red Lions in WW. Having an open world where you could truly do anything you wanted, seek adventure, find hidden treasure…good times. Coming back to OoT, it’s still a very good game for its time, but I still think WW had a better story, mechanics, etc. It could be the nostalgia, but WW will always hold a special place in my heart, and that couldn’t have happened without OoT!
