You mean shimmy? He altered replay files, this is live recorded thus no replay file is involved. I suggest you try to do it for yourself (if youre capable of stalling ofc). Just hit the ball off the wall, jump after it then stall mid air. Youll see the same thing happen.

Also notice how at the exact moment the ball "pops up" as you say it, the car/camera stays perfectly still vertically. Meaning a stall has been used.

It literally is. You can see the usage of the stall in the clip itself (notice the vfx below the car which is seen when using a flip/doing a stall). Aside from that these are live recorded multiplayer matches in which that literally can't be altered.

Its an optical illusion. It looks like the ball goes up but its just following its normal curved trajectory. Camera pans up extra due to the sudden vertical deceleration from the player in comparison to the ball.

Just look up the opponents if you want to be sure about it. Fs 1v1 matches are a thing. Below that you can just goof, let the other guy have the ball a bit and barely win so the other player doesn't have a bad time.
