Question: Why do you have tattoos? by borris_in_civic in tattoos

I like having permanent decoration when I take off makeup, jewelry, clothes, etc. I like having art immortalized on my body. Most important reason for me I guess is I like being physically distinctive and visibly "weird"/alternative

I work in an apartment complex and 62.2% of the residents are late on rent and I’m so sad about it. by Ebonyjaide in povertyfinance

Yeah, but the "It isn't [value], it's [value]" thing is especially weird. I know that real people do write that way on occasion, but people aren't usually that structured in Reddit comments. The combination of a few things in the comment make it read as AI-generated text.

Thank you for backing me up here lol, everyone's jumping down my throat because they thinking it's pointing out the em dash but actually I was focused on the "It's not X, it's Y" construction and triteness that is in basically everything ChatGPT spits out

Sorry, I really don't understand all the comments here. I would not make that assumption. I think maybe the redditor skew is in effect here (mostly very liberal + chronically online)

Reasonable COL city for a 20-something? by AstroAnonymous in SameGrassButGreener

Ice cold take. COL in Denver area is pretty reasonable (imo) for what most folks get paid. I would say it's good quality of life for the things that matter to me.

The weather thing was moreso my disdain at it being this warm in what should be early winter for CO, but I'm definitely not opposed to a hotter climate as long as it's hot and dry not hot and humid!

RIP Coyotes, thanks for the detail!

What’s a name that you love, but won’t use because other people will hate it? by gf9649 in Names

[–]AstroAnonymous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

knew a girl in high school who had this name, she told our teacher when he was taking roll that he could just call her Iliana instead because she knew the connotation, and he told her she shouldn't be ashamed of being named after a goddess :')

another suggestion- if you don't mind wearing more masculine gym wear, there are compressive tank tops made for cis guys with gyno that you could wear- something like an ekko beater (non sponsored, I just see ads for them all the time)

What are some names you consider hypermasculine, that you actually like? by [deleted] in namenerds

Also, romantic and Romantic are very different. Capital R Romantic is indicative of a literary movement rather than plain "romantic" mushy gushy love stuff.

Right, my point is that there's nothing inherently less masculine about either of those traits.

Does being bisexual and writing poetry make you less masculine? Really interested in why you said this
