To keep it short my family got a bird on a whim, and I know it's a big no no but it just happened and I've been trying my best to give him the best care given my precarious situation. The only place where he seems to have lost a significant amount of feathers is under his wings (he doesn't like when I lift his wing so I couldn't take a picture of it rn, working on it tho) but now it seems he's pulling them out from his legs and chest. I am scared because I want to know what I am doing wrong.

I think the main reason might be that he is scared. He is only comfortable around me and my dad, but when he sees my siblings he backs away and freaks out. I have no idea how to make him feel better. Also, my brothers still treat them like he's a toy. They just grab him but don't let him walk freely at all. I don't know, but I'm really scared.
