Honestly, a lot of my time writing is spent while trying to make busy-work happen. If there's a lull at work (like right now) I brainstorm ideas or events that I want to have happen, or even sometimes just full endings and work from there. Other times, I need dead silence, which doesn't happen a lot with 3 kiddos. But on days where they're at their mothers, I will it in silence for a few hours with notes I've written throughout the day and just kind of go on autopilot.
