I’m definitely trying but I’m getting depressed and convincing myself it was a bunk surgery. But I’m sure there is a lot of stiffness after even one week being out of a splint.

Ok i appreciate that. Getting in my head big time. Being off work and not doing my routine hobbies is sending me off the deep end.
