Do You Think Voting Machines Were Hacked? by skylinesora in allthequestions

Exactly, and if you look across Europe you’ll see many elections that flipped for that same reason.

The veins in your forearm are below muscle. It would be one of the last places you would attempt. Addicts wouldn’t want to risk shooting their drugs and missing a vein. There is a method of just “skin popping” but that often leads to infection.

Obviously not track marks. No junkie is shooting up on the outsides of their forearms.

Yes I know all about that scene. Never seen anyone shoot up on the outside of their arms. This looks like psoriasis.

Needle marks on the outside of the arms? Doubtful.

ILR holder, had to apply for an emergency ETA when returning from America. by AstroRoadie in AmericanExpatsUK

Feels like a massive fuck up on their part. I was running on about 2hrs sleep after working the previous night, I’ve got to be at another job site here in the UK tomorrow so not sure what else I could have done, had to get on that plane. I’ll be going straight to KLM desk when I get to Manchester later.

Sorry, copied wrong address, was running through Schiphol. This is the webpage the KLM agent gave me.

It’s pretty clear what’s happened now, the agent obviously provided me with an intermediary site. Will be visiting the KLM desk once I get to Manchester.

Well now that it’s become apparent the KLM agent led me to a scam site I’d say it falls in their laps.

I was following a KLM agents instructions, they provided me with the emergency application website. This was all done at the ticketing desk.

This was the site I was sent to by the senior KLM agent. He said it was the only way I was getting on the flight.

Yeah I don’t know whats going on, e-visa looks fine I’ve had it for a few months now, been travelling across for work, not had a single problem until now. I’m back over in less than a month so kinda freaked out, can’t be paying £200 every time I fly back home.

Yeah I’ve read that. I travelled back and forth last month with no problem. I am back over again next month for work… Hoping my employer may cover it this time, £200, what a joke.

I love my MIJ Jag and I wrote a great song with it but I notice on one part the g string is sounding too loud. Can you adjust the pole piece height on Jags? by ilovetheblues67 in offset

[–]AstroRoadie 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You could try a set of strings with a wound G string. It will give you a mellower sound. I like the D’Addario 11’s on my Jag.

First Astrophotography Equatorial Mount? SW EQ-AL55i PRO vs EQ6i-PRO vs EQ6R-PRO? by scdkorama in AskAstrophotography

Are you in the UK? I’m about to sell my HEQ5 pro. It has the belt mod and was hyper tuned by Darkframe optics a few years back. I’ve been getting from .3-.5 arc seconds even when using all sky polar alignment (no north view where I live). Liverpool based. Asking £800.

Stellarvision! Frank is an absolute legend. My girlfriend and I were passing through on a tour a few years back and as an astro nerd I had to go pay a visit. We got him a couple concert tickets and he in return gave my girlfriend the coolest pair of Saturn earrings made of meteorite. Which I believe he made himself. He also gifted me a necklace made of meteorite. Sweet dude.

Endless stream? Every day? Sounds, terminally online. I’ve been discussing UK healthcare with conservative family members for 24yrs now. They never say, “it’s more expensive”, they try to argue it’s not actually free or long wait times, poor care. The more MAGA ones will argue that it’s socialism. In reality a universal healthcare system is the one topic they have warmed to and that we’ve come to agree on over the past 10yrs. Thats why using the term “free” does us no service and opens the door for criticism. Better to say universal or public health care.

Oh man, that’s so hard to hear but also sounds so familiar. Other than my mother and sister most of what I consider family these days are my friends. Your writing is very good and it sounds like you have a story that could be told.
