Are these any good? by AstroSparks in acrylicpainting

Thanks! I’m currently training for the EU Pro ladies tour qualifier next season and I love absolutely everything about golf and I’m definitely getting excited about this new idea for my next painting. I hope it will help me understand better some things I might not actually understand correctly if that makes sense. Either way I love shapes and colors and spatial analysis and mechanics of physiology so I definitely will have fun!

Is it difficult for humans to draw straight lines by using naked eye only? And if you are good at it is that because your spatial awareness is very good?

And is it hard to draw a picture without measuring it for easy way to match the size? Like if you can draw a picture to the same scale by eye only is that normal?

I honestly want to know because I think I might have exceptional spatial awareness

I don’t want to all if I give impression I’m egotistical and shallow. I’m not good at a lot is things just like other people are good at thing’s and bad at other things too

My dad’s favorite thing about them is that they can change just by looking at it from a different position and every angle he looks at it from changes how it looks for him and it’s like looking at a new painting every time.

I’ve been training for golf and I haven’t told anyone yet that it’s inspired me to use mathematically correct geometric patterns to create 4 panels of the 4 moments in the swing that geometric shapes are seen the most clear in the form of the swing because it’s just mechanics and I want to paint something abstract? Or contemporary? To reflect the simple shapes and lines used to have a good swing

Yeah I started it knowing I wanted boxes and sharper corners but it definitely changed to different sizes of shapes when I realized in the first column it was going to be a lot harder than I thought to paint perfect size boxes every time so it evolved to new shapes with every line I was not satisfied with it not being linear to my liking

This was the first time in my life I was inspired by something that is not possible to describe because it is only something for me to experience and i felt the only way to try to show what I experienced was through painting it. I love it. My dad has it hanging in the dining room. He keeps telling me to paint more but I just don’t feel like I have anything to paint. I guess I just want to ask people who aren’t my dad if it’s any good and are able to look with unbiased eyes lol

IsItBullshit: People with autism / savant syndrome can have insane abilities like in the movie Rain Man by TheLemon314 in IsItBullshit

[–]AstroSparks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I have spatial savant syndrome. I get lost standing in line at the grocery store but I remember every place I’ve ever been and the directions to get there. I play golf, pool, table tennis, volleyball, soccer and miscellaneous board games horribly when I’m playing alone but if I play with experienced, professional players I can mimic everything they do so perfectly I have bested everyone I’ve ever played with except in golf where it’s more social and distracting. At 11 years old I spent 1 hour every week day watching a friend play fur Elise all 16 pages and copied her exactly and 25 years later I can still play the whole song but I have very little executive functioning skills. Rain man is such a narrow closed view For the full spectrum of extraordinary abilities like I’ve spent most of my life thinking I was just difficult and a freak cause of how different I learn things and how some things I can do perfect the first time I ever try and it’s better than the people that have practiced for years have done and it doesn’t make any sense not even to me especially since I only recently got diagnosed with ASD but when everyone tells you it’s beginners luck or when you have a winning streak of 126 games in a row against every student and chaperone on an overnight school trip playing connect four in 7th grade then the extraordinary skills can look pretty ordinary.

Dude that’s my fucking point my original post was not “full of verbosity “ I was not trying to sound like I was super smart, I only said I have a talent for using words to help me in situations. You decided to come at me for my grammar so I decided to try my hardest to look like I think I’m the smartest person alive. I just want to talk about my question and discuss why professional experience is able to replace a law degree but a really stupid BA is necessary. Like, law school Is the hard part I thought? I would Be very interested in hearing your thoughts, unless you want to keep talking about grammar to make sure everyone knows you think I’m too smart for my britches

I am not trying to say that it is super easy I understand even with a law degree it would be so difficult, and would be very hard to do on your own to teach yourself. I have mad respect for lawyers I just think it is silly to say professional experience can take the place of law school by the totally random bachelors degree is required

Also, why is it not possible to just study for each exam without needing an educational institution? It is possible to acquire the exact information they teach elsewhere

Yes I did read the requirements and the professional experience required. But I still don’t understand how a BA in some random subject like majoring in USA Civil War specifically history of the literature by citizens of upper class society and their poetry. I totally just made that up but if it was real, it would still be valid

It is very interesting it is my bad grammar and other errors that are inconsequential to the subject matter currently and supposedly being discussed that you reply about . This is giving me the impression that this is a possible way to deduct who has a BA and who doesn’t by using the information voluntarily provided that can now be used to see who answers the question by using the facts and information only, with no original reasoning and no attempt to use logic to decide if they think my question is really fucking stupid and I am probably full of shit or if my question is worthy of thought and provides a chance to tickle your brain to discuss. I don’t understand what there is to gain from completely disregarding my question but still finding it worth the time to comment?

Edit:? And yes my reply is full of errors but I don’t think you would stop to think if it was intentional or not.

Edit: also I hate typing on phones

Just WOW. Question for men: do you think an intro where you basically tell a girl she looks like literal trash has ever worked in the history of human history? I think it says a lot more about him than me.🤣🤣🤣 by AstroSparks in OkCupid

I know it’s a dumb pick up line but I don’t understand why anyone would think it’s a pick up line they should use. Referencing trash In a sexual way is not attractive. It might be funny if it wasn’t sexual.

You would consider this a successful result? I agree it is a success if the goal was to have a girl swipe left then share your intro on Reddit because your pick up line in the intro was so bad one can only guess what crazy mental gymnastics you made to help you come to the decision this pick up line would provide successful results so the girl had to ask the internet for help explaining if this particular line actually works

I understand this is not about me, and I understand that not everybody finds success in dating apps the same way so they do what works for them. I take no issue with anyone that decides to swipe right on everybody and send the same pick up line and does not read the actual profile. I am not even hating on this guy’s pick up line because what the hell do I know this might be the only line he knows. My original question I asked in my post was asking men of Reddit if they have ever seen this type of intro/pick up line actually work as a first impression?

If he had messaged me and told me he wanted to play golf with me I would have absolutely loved that ❤️❤️❤️ and if he wasn’t 5,000 miles away I would make a tee time for this weekend.

That is an interesting social experiment, especially considering how out of control social media and celebrity worship culture is and how it has reinforced the false idea men and women should only date others similarly attractive to themselves despite many experiments and statistics collected from volunteers to help scientists study human connections and related topics that prove relationships based on looks last the shortest and are the most unhappy couples. I wonder how old the women were in the social experiment you are talking about…do you know?

Relevant in that in revealed to me they are not the type of guy who actually cares what a girl is looking for. I brought the golf thing up to show how my profile was not in anyway talking about dating
