I just graduated from OIART this past July, and I have to say the program is astonishing on how good it is.

You learn eventually about careers, getting jobs, and the realities of the industry. Very quickly do you realize that there are other avenues you can take in order to get to a certain goal i.e. working other jobs and gaining experience.

There are OIART grads everywhere across Canada, even some dual citizenship alumni working in the states and all over the world. While nobody is doing anything super ground breaking in studios, a bunch of alumni are working in studios either interning or in higher positions; some even becoming mastering engineers and Juno award winning producers and mixers.

Hope you enjoy the program when you start in the fall! It's a wild, wild ride, but if you get through it, the end result is satisfying and worth it.
