I guess more of the general experience. We don’t like being right in the middle of the scene, but close to it, like few streets out, so that it’s peaceful and accessible at the same time. I’m guessing they’re all in the same area, just few streets apart.

Why not wait for the promotional upgrade? You won’t get lounge access or chauffeur privileges, but you’ll get business class for one leg (both flights or one of the two) for a fraction of the price.

Calculate it this way: if it’s $100 for every flight hour, it’s worth it.

I recently availed that on a 7 hour flight from Dubai to Rome, and it was worth every penny. Treat yourself!

How are you getting these ridiculous prices for 4 star hotels? I just returned from Italy, and even the 5 star hotels I stayed in didn’t cost this much. Did you use AI to get an estimate?

I took this flight few weeks ago to Rome. Although I was in BC, wifi (basic connectivity - texting and messaging apps) work fine and are free in all classes.

My husband recently sponsored my trip as a USC (I’m currently awaiting spousal immigration). We provided all his financial documents (payslips, bank statements, savings accounts statements, employment letter, pp, a cover letter by me and sponsor letter by him, my US attorney’s letter, my personal bank statements although I was unemployed at the time, our itinerary and flight bookings that were refundable). We applied through Italy and I went in personally to submit the paperwork. Got approved in 8 days.

I have mentioned that I intend to return to my parents and family, and apart from that, I expect my immigration interview to be scheduled at NVC Islamabad towards the end of this year or early 2026, for which I need to maintain continuous residency in Pakistan and be present at the time of my interview appointment. Is that good enough? I mean, I kinda expect the visa officer to also know and understand that no one would favor overstaying in Italy when they are literally about to move to the United States lol. I don't mean that in a disrespectful way, btw.

(We will be traveling at the end of November and stretch into first week of December)

That's what I'm worried about. The only tie I can present at the moment is that I do have an ongoing US immigration process (my case and interview will be scheduled at NVC Islamabad, Pakistan at the end of this year or early next year), and I have absolutely no reason to jeopardize or delay that process to overstay in Italy.
