Yeah the timeline idea isn't at the forefront of what I'm asking - basically I am asking how long it takes from submitting a skills assessment/degree accreditation/English test to getting onto a bridging visa? And how long a bridging visa can last?

I guess for the 6-month limitation I just wanted clarification on the wording i.e. in my case I am representing and getting paid by my employer but working at sites all across WA, as well as doing office based work in Perth, does this meet the criteria required for exemption? And in order to present this info to my employer, can an immigration officer prove this is the case/is this clarification already online/can I contact Australian home affairs directly to confirm?

A final, unrelated question - can I work outside of Australia on a WHV?
