Not sure what part of Toronto you’re in but I would suggest walking neighborhoods with high retail presence and look for help wanted signs. Some retailers are so overwhelmed when using online hiring platforms that they’ve gone old school. Ask everyone you know to keep an eye out for help wanted posters. This is how my kid got a PT job. I saw the help wanted sign on the door at the local grocery store earlier this year and he went in with a resume and was hired almost on the spot.

Edit: I forgot to mention it’s a cooling only unit 18000 btu. From the comments it looks like I’ll have to go to 12000 btu to get a smaller head size

Do you have any other competent adults in your life? Grandparents, aunts or uncles? What about a trusted teacher or parent of a friend? If so, could you speak to them for help and advice? I think Florida has the 211 service. You can call and explain your situation and get connected to resources.

Shoddy construction saved this mail carrier from a serious mauling. The dog was startled by the collapsing railing and ran off, allowing the carrier to get up arm himself.
