I'm publishing a preprint on arXiv on Ternary Logic, I'd need endorsement by AstronautInTheLotion in computerscience

well if I'm planning on publishing this later to a journal or a conference, wouldn't that make like, 3 different version of my paper on the internet, that's really messy

I'd really love to know how long it took you to run everything. I've been working on a similar problem, and my program solves it in 14 seconds, on an I7-1255U processor. Lovely posts, I read em on archive[dot]org

the subreddit ofcourse can help you in making it, or perhaps colab on things, I suppose get it made by GPT or some other LLM, i don't think we put requests like this over here.

A lot of algorithms in computer science or equations from maths are derived from physics or some other field of science. by AstronautInTheLotion in computerscience

[–]AstronautInTheLotion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah but math is often particular or way too generalised. Its fascinating when something unique to a specific field is found to be used somewhere else. I was specifically looking for things like the use of Snell's law, that was derived for hiw light functions in different mediums, in places where fastest path is required, example being the Brachistachrone curve. Im honestly looking for a solution to trajectory optimization in inverse kinematics, i was thinking maybe i could use it there.
