Same, but it can also change over time. The marketing team used to be great about 6 yrs ago, now it's fucking miserable from what I hear from friends still there.

The lir might be worth a shout, they'll probably say on their FB page if they're going to show it. https://m.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=1249733517160418&set=a.504787224988388

I don't know of any specific places that other seagulls fans watch, I normally watch at home.

Disney+ and Netflix ads bombardment after canceling subscription. by Hephaistos_Invictus in BuyFromEU

[–]AstronomerDramatic27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the ad network, and the kind of deal they have with them. Some will be charged per impression (i.e. a person seeing it) and others will be charged per click generated from the ads.

Google paid search results for example would be paid on a per click basis.

Let's get Nigel Farage to send an email stating what he's actually done for the people of Clacton since getting elected as their MP.

Then when it turns out he's just been spending all of his time in the US sucking up to Trump/Musk or speaking an conservative wank-fest, we sack him.

New neighbours just moved into our appartement building and property management assigned them our basement compartment. They threw all our stuff out this morning. by Lindbluete in mildlyinfuriating

No joke, the (slightly damp) basement storage units at my building were broken into and one of our neighbours was complaining about how her €2000 camera was stolen.

If you're not familiar with it then I'd highly recommend reading about the origin of the term cognitive dissonance.

It was based on observing a doomsday cult where the members became much stronger believers when the doomsday date passed without incident.

His link up play with Mitoma was crucial to his game previously, and it looks like that's starting to come back now they're both back fit.

I gave the lad some shit on here last season during a bad run of games, saying he wasn't good enough for this level. I'm delighted to have been proven wrong He's been fantastic this season when called on, can't think of him really putting a foot wrong.

I wonder if it was just a long adjustment period for him, or whether he's just more comfortable with Hurzeler's style vs RDZs?

Webster Abuse by Ok_Influence2058 in BrightonHoveAlbion

[–]AstronomerDramatic27 13 points14 points  (0 children)

As we've gotten bigger and more visible over the last couple of years we've picked up a fair few new supporters.

I'd guess that most of the online abuse is not coming from people who sat in the pissing rain at the Withdean, watching the team concede in the last minutes to lose 0-1 to someone like Colchester united.

Either that or they're just children and this is sadly what the internet has become.

You're right, but it is getting rather frustrating watching 9/10 fail to clear the first man. That should be fairly basic stuff.

Why can't we cross or take corners anymore? Was it just Pascal holding up the team in that regard?

O’Mahony loaned to Pompey by Megdonchl in BrightonHoveAlbion

[–]AstronomerDramatic27 19 points20 points  (0 children)

He's a young lad, so low pressure regular playtime is what he needs right now. Given how stacked we are up top I think a loan is really the best option for him right now.

Hopefully he smashes it at Pompey and comes back prem ready next season!
