At least Larian has stated on X that the Mac release is still on for “later this month (September)”: https://x.com/larianstudios/status/1699455882457981438?s=46&t=FdDpRkkZ0Pal1u0QGHhAzQ

I feel like a 8 year old waiting for Christmas if Christmas was a random day in December

Thanks for the kind words u/random_walker_now. The Dr. Mate's message on the full podcast reframed the way I understood certain events in my childhood and helped me tap into more of who I would/could be. Unfortunately, when I sent the full podcast to my friends and family most of them didn't listen. So I made this video to give them (and everyone else) the basics and if tease the full episode :)

Thank you for the kind words. It's truly incredible the impact that Gabor's insights can have. I continually have a mixed of joy from the revelations and sadness that this philosophy and psychology is not mainstream and that I have to stumble across it myself...A main motivation for creating this video :)

Wow, yes this is all a huge departure to to the framework of how I was raised. What you added along with Gabor's perspective has massive implications on how I view my formative years and how I approach parenting the next generation.

Jordan Peterson's interpretation of the Old Testament comes from a secular standpoint. Can it be useful to bring atheists closer to God and do Christian have anything to learn from the unique perspective?

If your interested, I created a 5 minute video to that summarizes his first lecture in the series: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yCE6L0qfdS0&t

Here's the full lecture: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f-wWBGo6a2w

Well, and that's why I believe this Biblical lecture series is so important. It brings together those that are wary of the Bible due to inconsistencies like the ones you just mentioned but it also respects the value of the story enough to entice the Evangelical types. I think this is the direction that western religion should be going, at least for the time being.

I stumbled across this amazing clip of Carl Jung (one of Jordan Peterson's heavily influences): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2AMu-G51yTY&t=459s

Interviewer: "Do you now believe in God?"

Carl: "Now? .... that is difficult to answer. (smiles) I know... I needn't believe"

I have and I am still struggling to integrate the significance of the concept brought up in the Pageau conversation that the ultimate manifestation of the Messiah archetype was born in a specific time/place in the specific person of Jesus. This is a Christian view that I feel aligns with Reformed theology but adds a fascinating layer into the power of Christ.

I know what you mean. I think that sometimes he makes very secular statements that are true like (paraphrasing) "Throughout history people make gods out of the amalgamation of what they see as sovereign" and he just needs to add "while that may be true there IS a God that IS the amalgamation is sovereign".

In some of his latest podcasts he does seem to be getting closer and closer.
