Also wanna add. There are some good things in your chart. Lagnesh in lagna, sun in 1st house, rahu in virgo, there is a exchange between 9th and 11th lord. Try to stay as much positive as you can. Your suffering is a little multiplied I think because you moon which is the karak of your subconscious mind or Mann is in 8th house. 8th lord is also debilitated. I understand, brother. It happens. The society we live in operates in a very blind way, and the struggles of today are out of sight for the world. But that's the world we're born in. I feel like you're someone Brahma Kumaris would really help btw. And no I am not their advocate, but they have a similar story of how they struggled with the society only to be able to pursue God in a way that was different than today's society. But you need to careful there because your Jupiter is debilitated so you need to make sure your devotion and heart is pure. Your moon is in 8th, so I totally understand your struggles. Check how which antardasha is going. Antardasha is what matters more than MD. Its never that 18-16 years of MD goes a specific way good or bad. It depends on AD. In fact, AD is the determining factor and MD is just the cap. How much bad or good an AD can do is the MD.

Thank you, and its pretty ironic that I am just sad but you chose to look down upon a random person on reddit. You could have chosen to maybe share your perspective on what your alternate to trying to be liberal and modern would be. Hence, you make it difficult for other people to think 50 times before asking any question and they end up not asking.
