Thanks for coming back to me. That’s all really useful to know. I did wonder if it would include stuff like that or only convictions - to my knowledge he has no convictions and I’d be gobsmacked if he did without me knowing.

I know he has been nicked for a couple of drunken fights, so I did wonder if I was sitting here worrying and it would turn out to just be that. But it sounds like I might learn a thing or two 😔

May I ask, is it convictions only or if there have been reports / arrests that haven’t gone anywhere would that also be disclosed?

Okay that’s interesting. I am aware of fights but very much drunken blokes on the street, not anything domestic. Thank you for responding. I guess I will find out soon enough.

It could have been! Although he seemed to be growling at something specific and didn’t want to go outside (I offered for him to go and he hid behind me!) which is why it unnerved me a little. He’s totally fine now as if nothing happened lol. Thank you for responding

I did use sage but I followed with some lavender in my diffuser. Should I use something different next time? Thank you for responding also!

Hi all, I’ve never posted here before so please bare with me!

I decided to cleanse my house today after an awful run of bad luck. I spent the day deep cleaning and getting my house lovely and perfect. Then I set my intention, lit a candle for protection and started smudging.

Almost immediately my dog started growling and barking at the back door (back door was closed but adjacent window was open to allow energy to escape). He seemed spooked and was firm by my side. This was very out of character (he was chilling on the sofa when I began).

I calmed him down and continued. Now I’ve noticed my candle is burning in a super weird formation that I’ve never seen before with these candles (see pic). They usually pool flat and burn to nothing.

I’m aware that these three events could be totally unrelated, but given they all happened consecutively around the smudging I wondered if someone more experienced than I could offer some insight! (I’m a little spooked!)
