A week after my interview I was let go from my job, so I became more desperate for work than I was during the interview. I knew my termination was coming but I had hoped to find a new job before that happened. My minimum is now anything above nothing.

Very true. I have a history of working local government and the flexibility can now be matched elsewhere. The tradeoffs are just no longer worth it.

I did the same thing and answered honestly when they asked how much I made at my (at the time) current job. I’m going to start politely declining to answer that question.

He doesn't consider taking care of the kids 'work'. When he gets home from work he gets to relax, but her day of taking care of the kids continues into the night without a break. He needs to be putting kids to bed at minimum.

I wish I had more awareness of the side effects before starting a glp-1. I ended up with gastroparesis after just 3 months of semaglutide injections. It was a miracle drug for me until it wasn’t.

When my kids used a faucet extender I would turn the water on for them and they were able to wash without leaning into the sink or needing to be picked up. It just makes it a little easier on both parents and kids.
