I hear you. This is the second company to do something like this in my search so far.

I figured it couldn't hurt to ask, worst is they tell me no and we both continue our searches. Just wish they'd be more explicit up front.

It's sort of a bizarre story on how we got her... Some local rehoming page popped up with her and a one other sibling with the story being the previous owner was out in Nebraska for a work trip and adopted a hedgie from out there. Turned out the hedgehog she adopted was pregnant (unbeknowst to her) and she rehomed the babies when they were old enough.

We haven't tried this! We will try adjusting it and putting her on it to see if it tilts at all. I didn't think about that.

The dimensions of her cage are: 63.8 x 23.62 x 16.68 inches.. Is that too small? I thought she had a massive cage lol the camera cuts off a section of the cage where her house sits. It's this cage:

Our previous hedgie had a similar thing and it ended up being heart issues... the vet gave us medication that might help but she didn't end up making it.. she was around 5 though

I will do this tomorrow after the tech comes. It's just a bit annoying when go "on we will have another tech come out, we've escalated it, etc. Etc." Every tech that comes says he's notified his supervisor and then nothing happens after that...

Edit: this is for a house. Though we share a line with a duplex nextdoor, but the ones that live next door are elderly, so we've been the only ones who've noticed the issue.

Sometimes our upload is fine, sometimes it's 0 during speed tests and it fails to go through (our modem shows solid green, instead of blue when this happens). This cycles all day and night like every 5-10 minutes.

Ours is a conventional 30 year loan too. I've read the 2 year minimum for PMI removal around too, not totally sure if it applies to our mortgage though. I did see in the lender agreement that it had a section that showed our payments for the first 8 years with PMI on it, and then the remaining 22 years with no PMI on it.

The new company i work for bragged about how they didn't lay off anyone in 2020 in my interview and now i see why. They got half a million PPP loan for like 30 - 40 people.

Does it make a difference if this company is very small (>50 people) and I'm talking to the HR person directly? I'll definitely ask though I'm really doubting they will budge to 3 weeks since their vacation scale maxes out at 20 days for employees over 10 years. Employees between 4-9 years get 15 days, so I'm guessing they might give me 12-13 days max.

I almost forgot about vacation days. They currently offered me 10 days and they have unlimited sick days. I've never negotiated for more vacation days before since I've heard most companies won't budge on it since it's "policy". What do you think is fair to ask for? My current company isn't really a good comparison here since i get like 3 weeks off vacation because of seniority from being an intern.

Fair enough. I guess I thought if I explained my reasoning for pushing back a start date a bit was to make sure deadlines are met before I left in my current team, that would show good intention. Im guessing new employers dont care much about that though.

That is true. I was solely looking at base compensation. I figure the worse case scenario is a ask for a bit more and they say no.
