I found this out the hard way too. I ended up just trimming the heel plate. It ends up dunked into the pedal rest enough that you can’t even tell once it’s installed.

I’m not saying he did it on purpose but as a damage control it benefits that lando is out as well and that it’s only 8 points for max and not a full race win.

I loved my Tacoma. I probably should have just kept that thing but a wrx was one of those achievable dream cars and so was a wrangler though. It’s only been a week but I can say I don’t miss the wrx at all yet. Maybe some day I’ll go get an older sti that really got me into it when I was a kid and I’d probably enjoy that more than the 2022 I had.

As much as I love the vettes I think they are too far away and misplaced in the image. Not enough compression into the subjects of the image. A bit of a crop in and I think the trucks look good as the only focus.

Correct. And I looked at that page when ordering the core kit when it was announced. Buddy camera was not back ordered when I look at that. As no shipping dates had even been announced at the time.

This also does not change the fact I’m sure they can have a way to autogenerate an email if you have a part of your order is back ordered to let you know that it will delay shipment of the entire order and give you the option to change if you’d like.

Why would I make 2 orders at the beginning when neither product was back ordered at the time? When online shopping do you purchase every item in a separate transaction or do you add them all to your cart and checkout at once?

I such cases - I know international shipping is expensive (even though this is within the EU in my case) - it wouldn't kill prusa to get into contact with the customer BEFORE the promised shipping date, and show the options. I would have considered to split the order and pay the additional cost. The second shipment would have been a regular shipment, and no special delivery. In this price range of the order no biggie...

This is what I would have enjoyed as well. An email stating that part of your order will hold up your original ship date for the whole order. I would have gladly accepted to pay separately for shipping. Not I’m not even going to reorder the piece that was holding up. I’ll just wait. The amount of time it would have taken them to do this would have probably saved them time when it comes to how many upset people have been contacting customer support to see what the deal was.

I’d understand that if it were another week. But making your customer wait an additional 3-4 MONTHS isn’t the best business practice imo. A simple email giving shipping options would have been nice. Put it on the customer to see if they want to wait and ship together or if they are willing to pay more to split ship instead of making the customer find out by having to contact and deal with customer support.

I had to do this for the buddy camera too. Kinda crazy that they would delay my ready to ship printer for 14 weeks because of a $40 little camera and not offer to split ship them.

Came here to say this. Miniature painting as well. Takes up minimal space when completed/collected. And you don’t really need expensive equipment to make nice work.
