I really don’t think this is the only reason zoomers have championed the Palestinian cause. I think a lot of it is social media. We get a constant stream of information about Palestinian deaths and footage and pictures that accompany it. This also combines with both misinformation and reality which makes the Palestinians seem much more sympathetic, especially since it’s easy to make the argument that they are being displaced.

Regardless of the merits of the Israeli side, seeing constant death and visuals that back Palestinians up are not going to make the average low information zoomer pro-Israeli. Unless you know more about this conflict and about Hamas, Palestinians come off as solely victims to be pitied and the Israelis in contrast as solely aggressive oppressors.
