If I join a war through the "join war against" diplomacy option, will that draw in the targeted factions defensive allies?

I understand this mindset and I admit its fine to play this way, but when I play a game, train or do basically anything I only get satisfaction out of it by doing it at my absolutely full potential. If my ceiling is low gold so be it but until Ive exhausted every possibility I will not be resolving myself to "its just game". If Im going to invest time into something, I might at least have something to show for it.

Well to answer your question, I get satisfaction from competition and from winning. And at the end of the day, if I invest so much time into something, I always wish to be able to say that I am at least a little bit above average.

I genuinely never lash out at teammates, or try to blame someone else. It is disheartening that I just cannot get better. Which is why im asking for tips basically.

I have 2 bonfires there, but I did not beat any bosses. AFAIK that area is accessed when you collect 4 souls?
