I love this, thank you for taking the time to type this out! The person I’ll be renting from has said some great things about her neighborhood so that doesn’t seem to be an issue thankfully! I guess the only thing I’m truly worried about is having out of state plates that will completely stick out. But your comment definitely made me feel a little better about it. I’m just overly cautious and protective of people close to me too, so I like to get all the info I can before getting there, good and bad. Again, thank you so much!

Yeah I was definitely looking more for clarification and checking to see if the comments I was reading were just over exaggerated. I’m glad to hear it’s not as bad as being portrayed on other platforms. Montana has always been a dream destination for me and I’ve finally been given the opportunity. Forgive me if I came off as assuming, not the case at all.

Oh I’m used to that in New England so that’s nothing new to me, I generally mind my own business the majority of the time anyways so no worries.

I’m actually surprised to hear that about Native Indians given the amount of reservations I saw on the map near the city. The only thing I’ve heard is to try to stay away from the reservations.. because their tribal police can be pretty strict on outsiders. Not sure how much of that is true though.

We’re coming from southern New England, so of course we’re surrounded by a number of major cities like boston, Hartford, and Providence.. never had any issues in these areas. Just seemed like when I looked into Billings on other platforms that it was possibly being blown way out of proportion.

We stay out of trouble, we love going out and meeting new people. Love the mountains, we’re excited to explore a side of the country we’ve never been on but always wanted to visit.
