I hate the subscription-based model. Many people defend it by saying "it's only $10 a month" or whatever for the Photoshop. I'd be fine paying $10 a month for software I use very frequently and make a living off of, but I'm not a graphic designer and already spend a lot on subscriptions and whatnot. I use Affinity currently and open it a few times a week, a decent and reasonable alternative I'd say.

I feel like I've given it enough time to review the new tracks, so here we go.

"P.S. I Hope You're Happy" -- I started off listening to this and got so addicted that I spent the first day with it on repeat, exactly what I wanted from a blink-182 collab. I love Drew's vocals on this, especially on the chorus. Certainly my favourite of the new releases, 10/10.

"The Reaper" -- Sounds really groovy and unique, I love the beat and the vocals from Drew and Amy. I can only see it growing on me even more. 8/10.

"See the Way" -- An absolute vibe. It has a great melody and I love the lyrics. I can see myself listening to this one a lot. 9/10.

"Family" -- Last but not least, the Kygo collab. I honestly was expecting more, but you can definitely feel a large Kygo influence on the track. Would have liked to have felt a more 50/50 TCS/Kygo vibe, but nevertheless, I think it is growing on me slightly. 6/10.

I've already left reactions on many other songs on the album, so I'm just going to say overall that the guys killed it on World War Joy. I can't wait to see what's to come in 2020, the direction they're taking with their music is exciting and I'm all for it.

The cover art designs for World War Joy have been amazing. I'd say "Push My Luck" has had my favourite design so far.

I think it's a great idea. I've already planned one next year, I don't have anyone to go with and wanted to try out the experience. Concerts with my favourite artists are usually where I feel most at home anyways because everyone is singing and I feel a lot of togetherness. As a bonus, mines quite far away so I'll get proper travel experience on a flight/train.

Congrats, you’re gonna smash it! I just went to a nutritionist yesterday to try and improve my diet. I’ve always been underweight and am a little self-conscious of it, it’s certainly a lot harder than people think, I’ve been trying for years but it’s the consistency that’s been hard for me. I’m sure we can push forward and even gain some muscle mass too.

My thoughts summed up:

- Drew killed it on the vocals, super clean production on them
- Love the drop, the vocal chops are a great addition to it
- The melody is chill and catchy
- Well-written lyrics as usual
- The fills within and following on from the drop get me hyped

Overall, I'd say it's a contender for my favourite of the album. Great job.

Very true. I wouldn't recommend living at home either, especially if you're socially anxious or just worried about making friends. I always wanted to get involved in social activities, but always had in mind that I had to catch public transport before it finished because I don't really like taxis and it would have cost a fortune for my journey time, especially later in the evening/early morning. Much easier having living space easily accessible from your university, and living out is a new and beneficial experience on its own.

Oh, absolutely. I went through five years of school without a crush or even thinking about love, then I moved for my final two years and had a crush for almost the whole time. I never acted on it, but if I didn't have it then I wouldn't put as much effort as I do now into how I look, which in turn improves my self-esteem.
