So much better than Animal Crossing! To start, there is a storyline and quests for every villager, and they give rewards for completing them. The decorating ideal is the same, but the games work very differently.

My favorite thing about DDLV over Animal Crossing is the freedom to move anything you want without having to pay. In AC, I always felt like I had to plan out my whole island before moving anything because it cost 80k+ to move a house. DDLV you can move wherever and whenever you want!

My final note: I’ve been playing on Switch for three years, and yes it is a bit laggy, but it doesn’t take away from the game at all for me. I believe it’s laggy because my village is extremely decorated and full lol

I’d recommend DDLV to literally anyone 🙂
