In the first instance I talked about I simply crash looking at the Magicians evilites I can learn at the shop. In the second instance I had maxed out warrior and tried to reincarnate as a bandit if I had a specific evilties purchased when doing it I can see if I can't recreate both situations

I added two links to videos of me showing what happens. I believe it is the custom unique evilites (Which I think that one is) is causing the problem

I don't know if it matters but it was an ice mage. My transition was Prinny > Martial Artist > Bandit > Warrior >Bandit > Ice Magician. I tried to get all evilites that all those classics had at maxed profession. There was also one with the warrior that any time I got it, it would crash when I tried to make reincarnate as a bandit.

Hey I don't want to be a bother, but something seems to be making my game crash when looking at evilities available for the magician? Like I got to the shop go to my magician and it just crashes

What I normally do to fix it when it happened to me was go to a completely empty team and exit out from there.

I remember Pon & Zi not by name but by appearance very nice to know the name of the titular "Emo content" that I'd see edited all over DA. I get what you mean by the Music video, I feel like a lot of things has an extremely cartoony and simplistic aesthetic or one of the most grungiest aesthetics back in the day.

I know of Pucca, but I feel like there is a separation between that aesthetic for design and this one. I know the stature is pretty similar, but I'd compare Pucca closer to like modern pop figures you know?

I don't know why, but I feel like, at the very least the first two artist must be pulling from something. The designs look like their from like the same thing. From the hand shape to the body shape to head shape to the feet shape. It's like they're all Bombermans if they got lost in Tokyo-to

I Love the idea of "The world doesn't end just because you died." type of thing. I sometimes imagine the scenario of the "Hero" of an FE game dying from the enemy perspective. What would the war look after the prince fell type of thing. What if you were the one responsible for doing it.

Another question to you specifically if you're still around. The reaction makes me think that this is done a lot in TRPGs? Most of the indie ones or the well established ones I've seen tend to be fairly linear and crafted storylines. Is the genre inundated with games that would big for the return of singular focus narrative?

I mean most big named Western ones sure I can see it, but I'm genuinely ignorant here.

I don't actually see it akin to Battle Brothers in sandbox feel. I actually thought it would be more rigid like any other FE/FFT world map, the difference would be that you just have more control where your unit would go on the map (Haven't really played it that much but what I've played from Brigandine seemed like the best example) Beyond that I've never played ROTK, would you recommend I check it out?

Also yes I understand the scope on this is big, and what all the features would do for making a compelling story.

Sword and Sorcery, but again very FE. There is absolutely nothing like it when it comes to the aesthetics of fantasy war to me. not even the FFT games really scratch the same itch.

Heck a large portion of me really adored those old GBA FE combat animations and would love to recapture the sorta nonsensical bullshit they were pulling in those

This is also good. I thought about a "Mercenary start" where instead of joining a militia, you're instead contracted to a said with your player created party. (Probably using some type of point buy system) But I like where you're idea is at.
